Baan Mulan

A good hotel for the price. The location is excellent, just a 6-minute walk from the pier and literally 2 minutes to a great beach. Downstairs, there's a 7/11, cafes, massage, laundry, and fresh fruit. They only provide one key for the whole family, which is a bit inconvenient. As for the room itself, it has everything you need. The bedding and towels are definitely old and have seen better days. Housekeeping and towel changes are by request, but tea, coffee, toilet paper, and water are replenished daily. There's also a small balcony. The receptionist is a very sweet and polite girl. We had a great time and I recommend it.

The facilities are complete and the location is perfect. There's a 7-Eleven downstairs, and even the Fire Dance show is close by. The only downside was the 5-kilometer mountain road to Ao Beach; it cost me 400 Thai Baht one-way since I was alone. Why didn't I rent a motorbike? Because I saw them checking licenses! Ten years ago when I came, there were no traffic police. I'll definitely come again in the future.

We only stayed one night, so I can only share that experience. We were greeted politely and checked in quickly. The room was clean and cozy, with a table and chairs, and essential dishes (spoons, cups, glasses). There were no toothbrushes, slippers, or other amenities. The best part was the location! There's a 7-Eleven in the next building, and various cafes and the main beach are just a stone's throw away. Despite this, the room was surprisingly quiet, with no outside noise, which was a pleasant surprise 🤔 In short, I recommend it! For the price, it's an excellent hotel with the bare essentials 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I stayed for two nights and was really happy with the location, which was fantastic. The room was clean, though a bit old-fashioned. However, considering the location and quality, I think it's a great place to stay. It really helped me enjoy my trip to Koh Samet. I might stay here again. Thank you!

Pros: 1. Hotel location - good beach 2. Walking distance from the pier - 15 minutes 3. Newly renovated bathroom 4. Two complimentary bottles of water 5. Clean 6. Clothes drying rack on the balcony 7. Large, convenient refrigerator Cons: 1. No beach towels - we brought our own 2. Poor soundproofing: it felt as if the walls were just partitions

The room is compact, but the bed is large and the sheets are clean, making for a very comfortable sleep. It's fully equipped with appliances and amenities. Inside the room, there's a refrigerator, fan, television, hairdryer, and air conditioning.

Great location on the main street, with two 7-Elevens nearby and beach access. The room itself was very small and cramped. Cleaning was done upon request, and water, coffee, and sugar were replenished daily. The main positives are the location and the price.
