The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious and very clean. The food at the restaurant was also nice. Only downside is the beach there is not so clean, but would definitely come back.

the hotel is located near the pier. Large room, comfortable bed, normal breakfast, there is a nice pool that needs to be cleaned more often. When we arrived it was green, we didn’t go swimming.

The room was super nice! Quiet, clean, few people. The breakfast room is right on the seaside. You can order one or two items for breakfast every day, including a buffet of drinks, coffee, tea, bread and fruits. The environment is particularly good.

Excellent location, everything is nearby, including the pier - the point of arrival and departure, no need for a taxi. Lots of shops and 7/11 two hundred meters away. But not the center of the party, which is also good. Russian speaking dive center. I recommend.

My wife and I stayed for 11 nights. We really enjoyed The Blue Diamond Resort. First of all the view at breakfast was stunning. You look at the beautiful beach, the sea and all the boats. The breakfast really set us up for the day. Our room had air conditioning, a small fridge, a safe, kettle for tea and coffee, and a balcony over looking the pool. All the staff were friendly and helpful. There are deck chairs on the beach and even a couple of kayaks to use. It is very good value. I'm sure we will stay here again.

All the staff here were lovely, very friendly and efficient. The location is great, right on the beach with good snorkelling and close to town but not too close so very peaceful. Breakfast was good and we also ate our lunch there looking out at the sea which was perfect. Very reasonably priced food and drink. We had a pool access room which was generous in size and it was lovely to be able to walk out the door and dip straight into the pool which was a very good size. We would definitely return here is on Koh Tao.

We loved this place, the hotel is not far from the pier, we actually walked with children and managed it even in the heat, literally about 5-10 minutes, just turn right out of the pier and walk straight to the end of the road, its tucked away right at the end, fabulous spot. The room we had was amazing, big comfy bed for us, bunk bed for the kids, raised seated area, huge balcony and great bathroom, fridge, tv with cable channels, water, tea coffee provided, hairdryer, towels and room kept clean daily. The pool was a great size, you get towels from reception. The staff are all lovely and on hand to help with anything you need, we had breakfast included which was really good, continental selection, food to order (you can choose 2 items off a menu) and good tea/coffee machine and they have proper big mugs! we ate at the restaurant for lunch and once for dinner too and both times the food was lovely and really good value for money. If we ever return to Koh Tao this is definitely where we will stay again, highly recommend.

Lovely little property, the swim out pool room was beautiful and waking up to all the birds and nature was stunning!

This is a smaller family-oriented resort, relatively quiet even though it's a short walk from the main pier. I had a first floor room which was kept spotlessly clean throughout my one-week stay. All of the resort staff that I met were polite and friendly and I'll certainly stay here again on my next Ko Tao trip.

A simple, yet comfortable and welcoming resort. The pool is great, the rooms are a good size and we had everything we needed. Our swim up pool room was a wonderful novelty and we loved being able to basically roll out of bed and into the pool. Being right on the pool, the room is not great for having an afternoon nap, but that was ok, as we knew it would probably be a little noisy in the pool during the day. The owners and staff are super friendly and attentive, and we had a great inclusive breakfast. The location is nice and quiet, but still close enough to the hustle and bustle of the shops, restaurants and pier.

This is a pretty resort set in its own grounds with a hotel building two storey and several bungalows. We had a room overlooking the pool on the upper floor. The room was large and clean with a good sized balcony and shower room. We had issues with the poor performing air conditioner and as we were only given one key we had to leave the door unlocked so we could keep the room cool which was not ideal. The reception area is next to the sea and they have a small private beach but only 3 sun beds on it. We did not have breakfast so I am not sure about the quality. Beach towels are at reception if you need them and the staff are very friendly and helpful. If you want your room cleaning you have to leave the key at reception and they take up to 3 hours in the afternoon which is difficult if you want access to your room. This was not a problem for us but could be an issue for some. The staff leave water outside the door and we just asked for clean towels which were delivered promptly. We certainly had a decent stay here and the pool area was a decent size with enough beds to enjoy. Well worth it for a short stay.

Really lovely spot for a family stay. A family of four we stayed for 5 nights in one of the family rooms. Big double bed and big bunk beds. Very traditional Thai hotel still locally owned and run (it seemed) . Kept really clean and tidy by the friendly staff. The food is also really really good and having tried lots of other places to eat on the island with more fancy lighting and seating, the food at the hotel was actually some of the best. Breakfast and food served right next to the beach. Perfect for sun set. It’s a short walk from where the ferry arrives but the beach right in front of the hotel is golden sand. Amazing snorkelling a two minute walk (and an old ship wreck just off shore for those that like snorkelling that sort of thing). Pool area is lovely and the whole grounds of the hotel are well kept and have lovely areas of trees and shading from the hot Thailand sun. With many many choices on the island it’s hard to chose but I would come back to this hotel again and again.
