Coral View Resort Reviews

Stayed here in the chalet for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The staff are super friendly and helpful with getting taxis in and out of town. The beach is really clean and the water was nice and clear for snorkeling. Food at the bar was very nice and reasonably priced. One thing to note is if you rent a bike and you're unexperienced take it VERY slow on the hills getting to the resort especially at night they can be dangerous. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others.

Wonderful location, simply the best beach on the island with turtles if you are a bit lucky. Amazing staff and great rooms, I hope to come back. Thank you for a great time.

The hotel is on an excellent beach with corals, you can meet turtles and reef sharks. The rooms are a bit dated, but the bed is surprisingly comfortable. The service is excellent, breakfast too.

Everything is good, but the slope is almost impossible to go back and forth on a motorcycle. It's not over 35 degrees and you don't fall over and make a fuss... Most drivers Other than that everything is good

It’s really great🎉The service is very good and the cleaning is done every day Snorkeling was great. I saw a lot of fish, sharks and turtles right in front of the room. Snorkeling tools are provided for free. I will go again next time Find peace amidst the noise

Unfortunately, green algae broke out on the whole island of Koh Tao on the day we arrived, but the hotel environment is still very good, and I will stay there again next time if I have the chance. I asked the front desk where is the best place for snorkeling, and the recommendation was very reliable!

If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you.

The hotel is located on the shore. But the water was all covered with algae. The staff is very nice. The road to the hotel is a very steep descent and then an ascent. There is a sign hanging, one person per moped. The girls were put into a car that came to pick up other guests. Breakfast is good, but not fancy. In general, if not for the water with algae.

I stayed at 4 Koh Tao resorts and this was the best. The beach in front of the hotel was full of huge fish, 90% of them were Westerners, and the room was clean and comfortable. There was no toothbrush and conditioner, so I recommend bringing your own. The road to the hotel is a steep off-road with ups and downs. I will repeat next year.

The atmosphere is very good, emphasizing nature, while traveling outside the resort is free of charge, only pick-up and drop off at the pier. Breakfast service is very good.

We had a wonderful stay at Coral View! We loved the seclusion of the hotel from the busy and more active area and with the hotel offering shuttle service at a very reasonable price, we were able to visit the more active areas of Koh Tao! A perfect balance for what we needed from our stay on the island! The views were stunning and the staff were incredible! Only recommendation is bring a water shoe to wear on the beach as there is loads of shells and coral and it would make walking on the beach much more enjoyable. The water was so wonderful to be in and the snorkeling was a success!

The positives; - great location and views - good beach bar - nice beach with good snorkelling - provides a cheap efficient transport service (can’t walk to anything and a v step driveway) - friendly helpful staff - free masks and snorkel - great reception desk staff with good English and communication through WhatsApp The negatives; - average quality room (no room beside basin for toiletries, no glassware, no clothing drawers, poor soundproofing to next chalet) - low quality breakfast with woeful coffee - stained sheets (but clean) Overall we enjoyed the resort but felt it was overpriced (about double fair price) compared to other places we stayed in Thailand
