Very nice hotel with spacious rooms and a nice SPA area

Hervorragende Lage zum Strand (leider ohne Blick aufs Meer): nur 50 m. Sehr gut ausgestattetes Zimmer mit großem Balkon: modern, sehr gutes und geräumiges Bad, gute Betten (nur Bettcouch - als Sofa genutzt - war unbequem). Ruhig. Gute, Hoteleigene Parkmöglichkeit, bewacht. Alles sehr sauber und gepflegt: Bad, Zimmer, allgemeine Räume. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück und Abendessen (hatten Halbpension). Pool und Sauna gepflegt und sauber. Personal durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit; sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse.

We had a lovely short break in the winter and made extensive use of the fantastic wellness offer that was included. The food was also mostly absolutely top-notch but always delicious. They pay attention to health, which is more important these days than extensive menus and expensive specialties. Perfect for relaxing and starting a healthy life.

We had never been to Kolberg before and had first looked through the Secret Escape offers. Then we compared them with TripAdvisor and decided against it. We then chose the best-rated Shuum Hotel. We travel a lot for both business and pleasure. The Shuum Hotel is really great. If an investor has the courage to build a relatively small hotel right on the beach, then offers a wellness area that I have never seen in a 4-star hotel in Germany (the large swimming pool as an anchor), and has a car park guarded 24 hours a day by a doorman, then they have done a lot right for their guests. The style of the restaurant and everything else is recommendable. The rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable with a great balcony. Highly recommended.

My husband and I came here for a babymoon and we had a great stay! There are parking spaces that are monitored 24 hours a day and from the outside the hotel looks really modern and promising. This is confirmed when you enter the hotel. Inside you will find the hotel rooms on 4 floors, with the reception, lobby bar and restaurant as well as the kids' club on the ground floor. The rooms are spacious, with a sufficiently large shower room. In addition to the daily sports program, we particularly liked the pillow menu! We were able to have additional pillows (e.g. spelt pillows, neck rolls, etc.) brought to our room. This was very convenient for me as I could make myself very comfortable. In the spa area you are greeted in a friendly manner at a separate reception. There you will find the fitness room, with a treadmill, cross trainer, bike and upright bike, exercise balls, Pilates/yoga balls, countless mats, blocks, blankets, a TRX wall bars (where you could do pull-ups, for example), another wall with equipment where you can train your lower abdominal muscles. This is also where the courses took place. We took part in a course every day and it was really well organized and contributed to our well-being. There are also the trea**ent rooms here for trea**ents and massages. We had two massages. My husband had a massage for his tense back and I had a pregnancy massage (more like a gentle lymphatic drainage, with a lot of focus on the arms and legs - but it was very relaxing!). If you go to the pool area, you first enter a large changing room with lockable lockers, showers, hair dryers. From there you go to the indoor pool, whirlpool and children's pool. There is always a lifeguard on site! Here you will also find the bio sauna, the steam bath and the Finnish sauna as well as two chill-out areas. The upper one is particularly nice and cozy! In the restaurant we only enjoyed the delicious and generous breakfast. There was a really large selection of juices and at the buffet (e.g. all kinds of homemade spreads, pies and the like, homemade baked goods that you should definitely try and much more). You can also choose other breakfast dishes from a menu, such as eggs Benedict, pancakes and much more, which can then be freshly prepared. If you want to get some fresh air, you can go straight to the promenade through the back exit of the hotel. From there it is only a few meters to the Baltic Sea beach, but you can also walk along the promenade and let yourself drift to the passenger port, for example. Overall we really had a great and relaxing stay!

The Shuum is ideally located right on the beach, a little away from the city center, and extremely quiet. It is a modern, minimalist, tastefully furnished hotel of the latest generation, which immediately makes an inviting impression. What makes it really special, however, is the committed, cheerful staff who strive in every way to ensure the well-being of the guest. Whether it is in the restaurant with a sea view, where the service is quiet, unobtrusive and very efficient, whether it is the wellness area with its cheerful welcome team and attentive lifeguard, or whether it is the room service that lets guests come to a freshly made room every day - everything is harmonious and fits. Speaking of the wellness area: three different saunas and a real swimming pool (more than just a pool) - not every hotel has that. The fact that it also offers such a pleasant quality of stay fits into the overall picture. I was there for a two-week diet, lost five kilos, would recommend it to every friend and will of course go back.

We had 6 wonderful days. All the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The wellness area and its offerings left nothing to be desired. We had a Thai massage and 1x pedicure, both to our complete satisfaction. The swimming pool, measuring 17x7 meters, is also ideal for longer swimming events. The chill room with fireplace is a great place to relax after a sauna session. The rooms are spacious, the beds are super comfortable. The breakfast is good and sufficient, but the rolls could be more varied and crispier. More variety at the cheese and sausage counter would also be desirable for a longer stay. Nevertheless, everyone is full and everything is always fresh. Since we only booked with breakfast and always ate out, we can only rate the breakfast. If you want to be active, you also have the opportunity to take part in free courses such as aqua fitness, yoga and Pilates every day. We tried everything and it was great. We will definitely be back.
