The best stay ever. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled. The staff was great, the manager was very friendly and the food was delicious!

The hotel was ok but the food both at the buffet at supper as well as the breakfast was terrible. At some point i resorted to eating only breadsticks!!! At the buffet the meat was drowning with fat and the fried potatoes were worse than McDonald's !

nice hotel, pleasant service, especially the bartenders, good variety of food and good rooms with swimming pools We spend here really good 7 days and we will probably back for more. I hope that the hotel will be renovated in the future because otherwise it lacks nothing

My partner uses a wheelchair so we picked this hotel as it was advertised as wheelchair friendly. We could access everywhere by one ramp or other. My only complaint would be that there wasn't a hoist at the swimming pool but we managed. The rooms were spotless and well maintained. The food was buffet style with a wide range of choices for breakfast lunch and dinner. Staff were all very helpful especially the manager who couldn't do enough for us. Evening entertainment on only two evenings, a violinist and a saxophonist, both enjoyable but oity they didn't put something on every night

Our second visit to this wonderful hotel, making us feel very welcome from the moment we entered the beautiful foyer. From the receptionist to the domestics to the bar staff nothing is to much trouble. Our restaurant manager Antonio never stopped smiling went 100% in helping with my dietary needs. Pinas and Gina at the bar making fabulous cocktails and again smiling all the time! As for the general manager I couldn’t wish for a more professional pleasing human being. All of you should be so proud in making this not just a special hotel but a holiday that will always be one of my fondest memories. Five stars is to be given. Thankyou

This hotel is definitely what it says, 5*. This was mine and my partners first time in Greece and it did not disappoint. The food was always amazing, every member of staff was so welcoming and it was a relaxing place to spend a week. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the staff and they were all so friendly. There isn’t much around the area but you can get a bus for around €3 to the Old Port in Chania. Lots of different themed nights and little things to do at the hotel. We did the wine tasting night and it was a great experience. We never go back to the same place twice but we cannot wait to come back here again soon. Thank you Cavo Spada for making our first time in Greece so special

Feels like home from home. Been before and the welcome received was amazing. Feel like part of the family. Staff amazing, especially Antonio, Gina and the manager. Everyone from the cleaning staff to the waitresses so friendly. Missed panos, but Gina made up for it. Will definitely be back. Food 5 star plus as was our room. No complaints and can't praise highly enough. Thank you for an amazing holiday. We will be back. Liz and Christine.

Visited here as a family of 12. Fantastic hotel. Food was excellent with a great variety in the main restaurant. A'la carte dinner in Azzuro was outstanding! Sealine restaurant lunches were OK, we preferred main restaurant lunch to here. Staff in all restaurants and bars were very accommodating and friendly. Special mention here to Antonis who is outstanding at his job. Rooms were spacious and spotless with comfortable beds. Special mention to the cleaning staff who done a fantastic job, they also came round early evenings to change towels and empty bins if required. Reception staff were excellent, friendly and were happy to arrange transport/advise bus times etc for us on our days trips out of the hotel. Plenty of sunbeds both round the pool and on the beach. The beach is very rocky which we had read about before coming so pool shoes are a must for little ones. The hotel itself is remote but we knew this when we booked it. The lady at the kids club was great with 4 children from our family that attended and the kids loved visiting. The only thing that I could suggest to improve the hotel is to perhaps have some form of children's entertainment at night as there was nothing for them. I would still go back to the Cavo Spada but most likely without the kids.

Nous avons « l’habitude « en tout inclus de faire les club Med 4 et 5 tridents..j’avais bien sûr un peu peur d’être déçue… C’est ma fille qui a réservé pour ses 40 ans et qui ne voulait pas faire trop d’h d’avion…et avoir du soleil… Dès l’entrée extérieure puis le hall d’entré vaste, lumineux et accueillant j’ai été ravie… Personnel très sympathique, souriant et prêt à répondre à vos demandes. Les suites vue piscine et mer tout proche sont parfaites …en octobre, pas de bruit…belle vue..Ne pas prendre les chambre avec l’es piscine et le couloir de nage je pense car à l’ombre et vue pas terrible. Bien sûr la mer est froide…ainsi que la piscine ( mais beaucoup se baignent dans la piscine)…Mais à moins de 4 h de vol, se trouver en maillot de bain ou tenue très légère, c’est super..Environ 26 minimum de ressenti la journée. Avons visité Chania… A voir :du monde mais tout à fait « circulable » a cette période . Avons fait la journée bus, bateau et les deux plages roses…À savoir que si vous ne marchez pas bien ou pas d’équilibre ,il faut éviter car il y a beaucoup de rochers pour atteindre les plages..Pareil: pas trop de monde en octobre…Je n’imagine pas en été. Petits points qui pourraient être améliorés : le pris pour apporter le petit déjeuner en chambre ( 19 euros pour le ramener ça fait cher) et le matelas qui est dur ( même réflexion de ma fille) Bref je suis ravie de cette semaine et continuerai à faire confiance à la collection AF…
