Har bodd flere ganger på Gyldenløve. Hyggelig familiedrevet hotell. God frokost og også gode middagsretter i restauranten. Supersentral beliggenhet ved buss- og togstasjon. Gratis parkering om du kommer med bil. Kort vei til det meste i Kongsberg sentrum.

Sov dårlig fordi det var for varmt på rommet. Ikke så vanlig i Norge på denne tiden av året. Men litt betenkelig at hotellet ikke har bedre temperaturkontroll på rommene. Normalt sett vil jeg ikke tro det er et vesentlig problem. Hyggelige mennesker og god beliggenhet.

Okay. Meget varmt på værelset. Dog var der opsat en blæser, så man i det mindste kunne skabe lidt cirkulation.
Byggeplads bag hotellet. Men de startede først sent. Sov fint. God morgenmadsbuffet.

Hôtel best western très bien pour qui veut visiter le Telemark : des église en bois debout pas très loin (dont Heddal) et la mine d’argent du Roi pas loin. L’équipe est accueillante et chaleureuse, le restaurant est sympathique et pratique (surtout si on arrive vers 20h ) . La chambre était assez grande et propre. A noter que le samedi soir était un peu bruyant (mais cela ne m’a pas empêché de dormir) un groupe de norvégien dînait au restaurant et notre chambre donnait sur la terrasse… Il y a un parking à l’hôtel et la gare routière/ferroviaire juste en face (ceci dit c’est très calme de ce côté là). L’hôtel est également à 2 pas de la Storegata si vous avez besoin de quelque chose. Bref, un très bon endroit pour poser ses valises quelques jours .

Incompetent receptionist who thought we asked for rooms above each other and not opposite each other😂, no aircondition in the room, closed bar, empty minibar, tiny bathroom, TV not working, woken up by noisy seagulls at 5 am. The bed was good.

I spent 18 days in Best Western and I loved every minute of it. From the polite staff,to the quality of the food, to the cleanliness of the room, everything was just perfect. Great job. I would recommend staying here.
