We stayed for 4 nights at the Grand Blue. It was the first stop on the coach transfer only being approx a 10/15 min journey. Hotel staff were lovely, super helpful and welcoming. The entertainment was great, highly recommend ‘The Legends’. Rooms were huge with great facilities, I didn’t pay for a sea view room but we got one and the view was gorgeous. Only downfall was the food - like massively. The selection was always really random and mostly just chips, pasta and random bits of meat. I heard other guests complaining about the food too. If you are vegetarian / pescatarian you will literally be living off chips and salad, maybe some fish. We were all inclusive but i wouldn’t recommend it. The drink selection was rubbish and the cocktails all tasted the same - watered down sugar. The bar snacks weren’t great either - just thick doughy pastries with bits of meat or spinach inside but, again, if you are veggie they aren’t labelled and the staff didn’t seem to know what was inside them themselves. I would highly recommend the hotel itself for the location, but rooms and staff. But save yourself the money and go room only / b&b if they have the option because there are plenty of restaurants and bars a 10 min walk down the beach in Kardamena. Worth noting the beds were rock solid too and our room didnt get cleaned one day out of the 4.

We stayed at Kris Mari for the second time this year. We enjoyed 18 nights 6-25th August and have booked for next year too. The hotel rooms are basic but very comfortable and clean. Every day, the beds were made up or changed, always immaculate. Breakfast is continental which suits us as we like to swim a lot at the lovely beach so prefer not to eat a heavy meal so early, anyway, plenty of fruit and toast, spreads etc, definitely enough. The pool area is nice, we honestly didn’t spend a lot of time there but when we did, there was a lovely relaxed vibe, nice music and all the staff are friendly and helpful, the pool snack/drinks bar was adequate and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The proximity to the beach, shops, tavernas etc is only a 5-10 min walk depending on whereabouts you want to go. Mostly, I would like to give the reception staff a shout out, they were extremely helpful with all our enquiries throughout our stay and we were made very welcome, this allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our summer holiday. Wow! The facilities are endless! Great options for kids and adults in facilities and food. My only comment is that I was not told in the check in process that I need to order the shuttle for the check out date in advance, that caused us a lot of uncertainty and stress on our last day in the hotel. Nonetheless I recommend thia resort and will definitely return!!!!

Previously stayed in 2019, fell in love with Mitsis brand and have done 4 other hotels since. We had seen many negative reviews but we felt these would just be the standard ‘moaners’ and decided to go and have a lovely holiday. Sadly there are very few positives left in this hotel. Maria and Martha are the only staff we had sort of service from they were amazing and certainly reflect the Mitsis image. The lady at brunch was also lovely but only on our first visit until she had got her good review. The rest of the staff really did not want to be there and it certainly showed. Everything was an effort and it was hard to get a smile even. Service at the Greek on the front was beyond shocking. Drinks everywhere were cheap and inconsistent with no garnish and cocktails were served in water tumblers even at night. Long waits for drinks in lobby bar and they ran out of many things we asked for. We are poet members and unlike all the other resorts we have visited we got no welcome back message or bottle of fizz on arrival and no leaving gift. I could go on, but the biggest issue at this hotel is lack of management. Never saw one manager on a walk round so staff just don’t care. Definitely won’t return and think this might be then end of our Mitsis journey as I honestly think they are either in trouble financially or have tried to cut too many corners. Caught the sickness bug on day 3, didn’t blame the hotel as it’s all over the island but could they have done better to contain it and improve hygiene standards ? Yes. Such a shame as we loved it in 2019

We stayed for 9 days at the Mitsis Summer Palace, and overall, our experience was very pleasant. We had booked a room with a sea view and a private pool, as requested, and it fully met our expectations. The unobstructed view was simply magnificent. The room service was impeccable, with thorough cleaning, a constant supply of beach towels, and a well-stocked mini-bar. We have no complaints about these aspects, which greatly contributed to our comfort. Regarding the restaurants, we appreciated the variety of options, but it is undeniable that an improvement in the quality of the dishes could elevate the overall experience. At the Med Restaurant, in particular, we noticed that the main courses sometimes arrived too quickly, while we were still enjoying our starters. This lack of timing slightly marred the experience, although the service remained courteous and professional. As for the buffet, we found it a bit lacking in variety. However, it’s worth mentioning the exceptional quality of the gyros, which were one of the highlights of our stay. One drawback, though: we occasionally noticed that some glasses were still dirty, which is something that should be addressed in an establishment of this level. The hotel has enormous potential, especially with the ongoing renovations, which promise to make it an even more remarkable place. However, it would be a shame to offer such an idyllic setting without ensuring that the service matches the standard. Certain details require special attention, as shown by an incident on our last day at the beach. I went to the bar 10 minutes before closing to get one last beer, but the server informed me that he could not serve it due to a lack of clean glasses. This is simply unacceptable, especially when it is clearly stated that the bar closes at 6:00 PM. This kind of minor inconvenience should not occur in a hotel of this category. The hotel still has a few adjustments to make to live up to its exceptional setting. We believe that with a bit more attention to detail, it could truly reach another level. Despite these few remarks, our experience remains very positive, especially with an 8-month-old baby. The staff was smiling and attentive, and we made some lovely acquaintances, particularly with Junior, whose kindness and warmth brightened our days. We would also like to thank the team at the Dusk Restaurant, especially the bartender, for her warm welcome every evening, as well as Lamine, who made numerous trips to help us with our journeys between our room and the reception. In conclusion, we thank the Mitsis Summer Palace for these wonderful 9 days. We are convinced that with a few additional efforts, this hotel can reach excellence.
