Great location if attending UMS event. It is right beside the entrance of the university. We took grab to town area for food, the traffic was terrible around 5pm, took us atleast half an hour for maybe 8-9km distance. My room facing east, enjoy the superb sunrise every morning at about 5.45am.

A pleasant experience staying at this hotel. The room was clean and spacious as we stayed in a Deluxe King room. The receptionist, Gloria, was very polite and attentive in assisting us. The breakfast was extremely satisfying. And the best part was the hotel’s swimming pool. I will definitely come back and stay here again.

A spacious room for family with sofa and chair, the breakfast was great and the staff really nice. The swimming pool also great for children.

The location is good. Not that near to town center. Parking is definitely a challenge since its opposite a shopping mall. Traffic rather congested around hotel. Nearby parking is at least Rm6 per entry. There are mosquito in the room and I dont know how they got there. Room cleanliness is acceptable. Swimming pool and gym facility is decent. Sufficient for light usage. Buffet breakfast is rather bland (I stayed for 5 nights include weekend) all the same repetitive food. Cost wise i think is worthy since the price include breakfast. Picture attach are the food I found at the shopping mall beside.

We stayed three days and two nights at Klagan Regency hotel.Our stay was fabulous with strong Internet connection (wifi).Clean and comfy room.Other than that, the foods we had for breakfast were all delicious and yummy.

Klagan Regency has been my family choice since its opening. And everytime we went,everything is perfect!from the process of check in went smoothly until checkout,we've been treated kindly by the staffs..not to mention the buffet breakfast,especially the nasi lemak❤️.the hotel is connecting to the mall and theres a convenience store next to the hotel,just a few steps from the entrance.we'll definitely come again❤️

Nice place and near to 1borneo Hypermall,All staff were friendly and polite,gud services, the room was clean and confortable,we book deluxe king,nice for kids with a bathtub, food was good and all amenities are complete. Awesome and wiil come again soon! The price was worth it.✌🤩

This was, without a doubt, the worst and most frustrating hotel stay I've ever had. From start to finish, there was absolutely no comfort, only disappointment and anger. I sincerely advise anyone considering this hotel to choose carefully and avoid this pitfall! During check-in, the staff's attitude was incredibly stiff and unwelcoming. They processed everything mechanically, and as soon as I got the room card, they repeatedly emphasized various deduction clauses in a remarkably stern tone. They listed every possible reason for a high deposit deduction – from slightly dirty or damaged items in the room to smoking – making it clear that 'one wrong move and you'll be charged.' This immediately created a huge sense of pressure, completely devoid of any hotel hospitality; it felt like I was being constantly scrutinized and criticized from the moment I arrived. I thought that by adhering to all the rules, I could at least expect a basic level of comfort, but upon entering the room, the sight and the pungent smell were utterly unbearable. The overall cleanliness was terrible; there was visible dust and stains on the floor, and clutter piled up in the corners, showing no signs of a thorough cleaning. What was most intolerable was the strong, musty odor that permeated the entire room and wouldn't dissipate even after keeping the windows open for a long time. There were faint mold spots on the walls, and the bedding felt damp, making it impossible to use comfortably. This level of hygiene is far from a comfortable stay, it doesn't even meet basic cleanliness standards. Staying in such an environment for long periods even made me worry about my health. Throughout my stay, I strictly adhered to all the hotel's regulations. I never smoked in the room and was extra careful with all items, fearing even the slightest scratch or stain. I was constantly on edge, all to avoid an unjustified deposit deduction. However, upon check-out, the hotel's actions were truly outrageous. The staff deliberately made things difficult with various inexplicable excuses, first claiming slight stains on the wall, then saying items were not neatly arranged, and finally, without any reasonable justification, they insisted on not refunding the full deposit. It was clearly a deliberate attempt to find fault and maliciously withhold funds. I argued with the staff on the spot, presenting the fact that I had followed the rules and hadn't damaged or soiled anything, but they completely ignored my explanations, stubbornly insisting on deducting the deposit with an arrogant and unreasonable attitude. At check-in, they went on and on about the deduction rules, demanding strict compliance from guests, yet the hotel itself couldn't even guarantee basic hygiene or service quality. With a moldy room and a dirty environment, they failed to uphold their end of the agreement, only thinking about using various unfair clauses to deduct guests' deposits. This kind of profit-driven behavior, completely lacking a service ethic, is simply unacceptable. When traveling, all one wants is a clean and peaceful place to rest. But this hotel offered neither acceptable hygiene, basic service, nor honest business practices. They used stringent deduction rules to restrain guests while providing substandard accommodation, and then maliciously withheld the deposit after check-out. The entire experience was negative. I sincerely warn all friends planning to stay here: do not choose this hotel to avoid a terrible experience like mine and suffering financial losses. I also hope the hotel can address its issues and stop infringing on consumer rights in this manner! I generally hate writing bad reviews, but this was truly awful.
