Nahar Retreat and Spa

The room service is really bad. They didn't provide drinking water. We always went to reception for this.

The hotel is maintained pretty well, rooms were clean and seems recently renovated. The location is also good, facing a valley and gives a clear view. The garden and lawn is maintained very well. Chirping of birds wake you in the morning. The service needs more attention. It seemed the hotel is understaffed, hence it takes time for most orders. There is also strict timing of food services, a little customer focus would help ( e. G. We drive for 9 hours from blur and reached around 6:45, and were bluntly told that no tea coffee after 6:00pm. Food is good, but a bit on expensive side. The complimentary breakfast is very basic and same things everyday ( idli, vada, uthappam or dos a, up-ma and bread jam )

Relaxed stay. The ***ager and staff very helpful. Neat rooms with hot water. Good restaurant. Kotagiri is quiet, not that crowded hill station with all facilities and ***y temples.

The stay at nahar has been a splendid experience with great rooms, views and veg food! everything about the place is outstanding! we had taken 2 rooms - regal and royal rooms. Regal room has a huge walk space inside the room and a huge bathroom indeed. The entire neighborhood is very scenic, serene and chirping sounds audible quiet. They have connecting rooms too though we dint select that option. All the tourist spots were closer to the property.

Place is clean and ambience is great. We have enjoyed the stay and lawn & funzone will make the kids little occupied. Food is good and staffs are friendly

Location is good. For good view select a good room. No complaints. Rooms are good, staffs are good, food is good, property is neat. They have good restaurant. Only thing is that it is a pure veg restaurant. For people who prefer non veg they will be disappointed a bit. But if the stay is for a night that should be OK. You can take non veg outside during lunch. Lot small restaurants with in 1 km. They can install a TV in fun zone. Keep more games in the fun zone. A small gym will be a very good plus to the hotel. They have space. Overall 4 out of 5.

First of all, this hotel is not suitable for bachelors and nonvegetiarians. While booking in make my trip no where it is mentioned "outside nonveg food is not allowed. They're strictly not allowing non veg foods. Only suitable for mar-wadi community people.
