On arrival we were greeted by a very lovely lady in reception. Sadly we weren’t happy with our room. First impression as we walked in there was a very badly stained carpet, then went into the kitchen to a hot tap constantly dripping, really badly stained coffee cups, dirty old used scourer and kitchen brush. The shower had mould on the wall and toilet stained. We had a few small cockroaches crawling through the room and there was no servicing of the room over the weekend which we were not informed about. It’s not a place we would want to stay in again.

The so-called breakfast was too poor. It only consisted of two slices of bread, two cans of yogurt, a 200ml box of milk, and a few jams. They were placed in the room on the day of check-in. The key is that the yogurt and milk were not placed in the refrigerator. The so-called motel hot springs are just two tiled pools from the 1970s in China.

Authentic hot spring, I like it very much. The room is clean and very comfortable. I will go to the hot spring again.

Bridge was very helpful. recommended many attractions and offered discount vouchers to us. I especially like the Themal bath. Used it twice a day.

For what we paid I expected way better from this motel. For almost $600 NZD per night I at least expected it to be clean. The shower, appliances and walls were filthy. Extremely disappointed. The best thing about this motel was the location for our activities while in Rotorua.

Ground floor, parking close to the unit, easy booking, comfortable bed, good mixer tap in shower which had plenty of pressure. Easy check in and out.

The Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Property clean, good location, comfortable beds.. air con, everything you need in a short stay property, all round positive experience. Lovely grassy area to sit and relax as well as clean pool to swim in.

Although buildings feels like you are entering the 1980’s, this motel was tidy and clean. Great customer service and daily housekeeping. Only rating it a 4 because the mineral pool wasn’t hot enough. Just reached warm bath water. On the plus it looked like it had recently been painted with fresh murials. We appreciated this and the cleanliness of the pool. Location was also good for walking into town. Nice being able to hit the waterfront within 20 minutes or chose to walk through Kuirau Park.
