New resort... All looks great.... Rooms are fantastic..... Clean n tidy, breakfast is below par may be its because of low season.... Location is far and quiet,perfect for who seeking calm n peaceful environment.... 20 mins bike ride to ao Nang and over 40.mins to Krabi town... Great swimming pool n spa... Friendly staff...

I was very disappointed by the hotel services, staffs are nice but not enough to service customers. I had to wait for 20 mins to get utensils for breakfast and 30 mins for an avocado toasted. Breakfast was the worst I ever had, small selection and the place for having breakfast is not convenient at all. The olympic swimming pool was amazing, clean room and nice design.

Great experience at the Varana! Beautiful new facilities and very friendly staff. Only thing to note is the location which is approximately 15min drive to the township of Ao Nang. However there a multiple restaurants and eateries close by. The onsen is amazing, definitely worth a try!

Amazing hotel, the room are well designed close to the sea with a lot of activities. Spcial award to The pool. we had very good meals at restaurant. Staff is great. I highly recommend.

There’s no where I can give 6 stars here but it is really 6 stars for all. If you’re looking at few days of holiday retreat in a hotel, this is the right place for you. From cleanliness, friendly staff, breakfast and even hotel room interior is modern yet classy. So far within my top 5 hotels in SEA. Highly recommended. Every night will be perfect for star gazing as well.

Best location, good decor, swimming pool was exellent. However, we highly recommend to improve kitchen service in breakfast.

It was a very satisfying experience. This hotel is the best hotel I have ever stayed in! 1. Facilities The overall facilities and room layout of the hotel are very reasonable. Public areas such as restaurants, swimming pools, and gyms are very clean and conveniently located. The details inside the room are also in place. What I like most is that there are beach bamboo baskets and beach towels that can be taken out with beach slippers, and the room bathrobes are also very considerate with room number signs to avoid confusion with other people in the swimming pool, which is very user-friendly. *The geographical location is actually a matter of opinion. If you like lively places, go to Ao Nang. If you like a more relaxed vacation, it is definitely worth it! The beach is opposite the hotel, and there are not so many people. 2. Service It can be felt that the hotel has worked hard on employee training. From the front desk to the restaurant, as well as the staff of various hotel activities, they are all very friendly and will take the initiative to say hello when they meet. There are two small details that surprised me: 1.) On the second night, I went to the front desk to book the hotel activities for the next day. After confirming all the details of the activities to be booked, the front desk said that it was booked. Before that, I did not tell my name and room number. The front desk lady said that she knew I was staying in room XXX and my name was XXX~ This moment was really surprising. I only went to the front desk once on the day of check-in. Praise Miss JUNE~ 2.) In the same situation, one morning I went to the gym to book rock climbing for the day, and she also remembered my name and room number completely (another staff member, and we had never met), which was incredible Personal suggestion: The back of the hotel partition wall is close to the roadside. There seems to be a farmer or something next to it. The sound of chickens crowing in the morning is quite loud. Friends who sleep light can ask not to stay in building 2 when checking in, which may be better. In addition, there may be a mosque or a gathering area for local Muslims near the hotel. You can hear their prayers and chanting in the early morning, which affects your sleep. I also expressed this to the hotel, and they said they would communicate with them later. However, I personally respect this religious custom and express my understanding. When I first heard it in the middle of the night, I felt that it was both ethereal and sad, and a bit shocking.

The hotel is not big, very new, and has everything it needs, but there is no sense of service. With a fake smile on his face, he said no to all the reasonable requests of the guests: If the room is not fully booked, we must check in at three o'clock, even if we have already had a massage and lunch at the hotel; I asked the front desk for a piece of soap, but I didn't have anything solid. It's understandable, but when I heard the word "soap" with a puzzled look on my face, I said, "What are you pretending to be?" The quality of the disposable toothbrush was average. I threw it away after using it for one day because of lint loss. I didn't even refill the toothbrush until I checked out on the fourth day. Even if the toothbrush can be used over and over, is the toothpaste enough? The most outrageous thing is, on the last night, because we had to catch a flight early the next morning, we asked the front desk to help us call a taxi. The front desk directly charged nearly three times the asking price. I asked if it was a rental. The hotel paid the same price for the car. I told him with a treacherous face that the hotel wanted it. I feel embarrassed to admit it. I had breakfast at the hotel at 7 o'clock. I also had to catch a flight and asked if I could pack a breakfast box to take with me. I refused without thinking because the restaurant was closed. I asked him to call the restaurant to communicate, but he refused and said he wouldn’t call after work. When we walked past the restaurant on our own, we found that the staff hadn’t gotten off work yet, and the restaurant readily agreed to a breakfast box. Okay, summary: Licking white people and licking black people is not serving the Chinese people! If you can't go, then don't go!
