Downstairs is the most popular Internet celebrity restaurant in Krabi. There is a cafe where breakfast and dinner are not expensive.

fantastic staff, nice, modern interior. nice, comfortable beds. good breakfast, you had coffee beans in the rooms so you could brew your own coffee. highly recommend the hotel. We plese to be here. The toilet eas clean, and have what you need.

Best hotel I visited (out of 5 hotels) during my 1 month visit to Thailand in Feb, 2024. Spacious, tastefully decorated room. Wonderful bakery/coffee shop/restaurant downstairs. Best coffee in Thailand. All staff were unfailingly courteous, friendly & efficient in our interactions. Ta Ta (sp?), a front desk clerk was a highlight of my entire trip. She expressed the best of the Thai people. Warm, efficient, always greeting me with a huge smile, she couldn’t do enough for me. From dispensing local information, to booking my Grab to the airport, and arranging several boat tours with hotel pick up, she made me feel like a “Family” member during my stay. Ta Ta is a credit to the Family Tree hotel.

Very nice staff nice room and great location.
We got bad weather in Krabi and decided to cancel one of the nights which the management entirely refused to refund.
Careful with losing the room key as they will charge you 200baths. You only get one room key by the way.
Steep hard to climb stairs to access your room which you will have to do by getting through a coffee shop they also run. This was awkward and uncomfortable at times.
Air conditioning noisy.

This is quite a quirky, modern hotel with the benefit of being above a coffee shop/bakery. There are great perks as you sometimes get the excess pastries at the end of the day left for you. You enter the hotel through the shop which is a novelty. The rooms are clean and modern with jars of snacks and coffee. It’s also a great location to the weekend market and night market

We had a wonderful, albeit short, stay at Family Tree for a night, and would wholeheartedly recommend staying here to anyone wanting to explore Krabi. The hotel part is hidden away inside the Much and Mellow coffee shop, but all we had to do was mention that we were staying at Family Tree and staff were there to help us with our bags and to check in. The room was bright and clean, with a super coffee station (freshly roasted beans, a hand grinder and filter paper/pour over apparatus for a truly excellent coffee) and a very comfortable bed. The staff were efficient and friendly and spoke excellent English. The hotel location was good, an easy walk away from Krabi night market, and a short Grab from the port for our onward trip to Koh Lanta as well as the airport. Family Tree was a superb place to stay - we'll be back!

Nous n'avons passé qu'une nuit dans cet hôtel dans lequel nous avions réservé 3 chambres deluxe (en famille) L'hôtel est situé au-dessus du Much mellow qui était fermé à notre arrivée, nous avons eu un peu de mal à trouver l'entrée... L'accès se fait avec un escalier en colimaçon (pas super pratique avec de gros sacs ou valises...) mais la déco des parties communes et des chambres est encore mieux que sur les photos. Quelques attentions nous attendaient dans notre chambre (petits gâteaux, thé, café...) L'espace est largement suffisant avec petits balcons sans l'interdiction de fumer. Les chambres sont très bien insonorisées. Nous avions réservé 3 chambres et avons pu disposer de l'étage (le 2ème) Petit déjeuner pris à la boulangerie en dessous un peu cher, lent mais très bon. Une très bonne surprise dans cet hôtel à la décoration recherchée.

The perfect place to stay in Krabi, close to everything on foot. The welcome is very warm, the atmosphere is family, the rooms are neat and very comfortable. The hotel also has a very good French bakery, a cafeteria with excellent coffees and cocoas and also offers catering. The place is very popular with locals and internationals, even in times of Covid, which is very rare and a guarantee of quality. L'endroit parfait pour séjourner à Crabi, proche de tout à pied. L'accueille est très chaleureux, l'ambiance est familiale, les chambres sont soignées et très confortables. L'hôtel procède également une très bonne boulangerie à la française, une cafétéria avec d'excellents cafés et cacaos et propose également une restauration. Le lieu est très prisé des locaux et internationaux, même en période de Covid ce qui est très rare et gage de qualité.
