Pretty good actually, considering that this area has no road access only by boat. If you want nature, sun and quiet this is your place. Hotel is average, needs improvement, but not too bad. Railay is good for walking and hiking, kayaking is excellent 🙏🥰🫶👍🏻

We had a fantastic time at Sand Sea Resort. The location is breathtaking with crazy cliff views and stunning turquoise water. Even during low tide, you can find spots where the water is deep enough for a great swim. For the best beach experience, it's just a pleasant 10-minute walk to Phra Nang Beach.
The room amenities were a highlight — having a beach bag and a beach mat provided in the room is such a thoughtful and 'super' touch! The housekeeping is spotless, and whenever we requested something from the reception, they delivered it instantly.
We celebrated a birthday at the hotel restaurant and brought our own bottle of sparkling wine. The staff was amazing — they brought an ice bucket and glasses immediately. They didn't just leave it there; they served us and poured the drinks throughout the evening. Excellent service!

The environment is nice; you can spot lizards and monkeys, and the hotel is quite large. HOWEVER, for a 1500-baht room, the facilities are barely on par with a 200-baht room. The air conditioning doesn't work, the lighting is dim, the room is very old and rundown, and the duvet had a yellowish blanket stuffed inside. At most, you're paying for the environment. It would have been much better to stay in Ao Nang and travel back and forth. I really regret it.

The resort is strategically located across East and West Railay beach and 1-minute walking distance to the pier. Staff are all accommodating. I cannot fault anything with the service and hospitality probably the best this resort could offer. There is also a hotel transfer to/from airport for a fee (1,800 THB per way) which was very convenient.
Facilities are okay and good enough.
Food is okay but we opted to eat out at nearby restaurants.

One night stay to end our holiday before heading home and this is a little gem of a place, on the beautiful Railay beach, definitely did not disappoint!
With access to East and West Railay it had both sides covered and the Bungalow was perfectly appointed, clean and as advertised.
Out and about after the day trippers have left is a lovely atmosphere and would recommend without fail and wish we had stayed for 2 nights and not just the one!
Thank you all that made the stay a great end to our break.

Hotel is right on the beautiful railway beach. Staff is great. Note that they don't serve alcohol, so you will need to go somewhere else for drinks.
