Krabi City View and its sister Krabi Heaven/Krabi House are right in the geographic centre of the riverside section of Krabi Town. The River restaurant, the markets and the wharf are within 300 to 400m. Dining and drinking options abound and a small restaurant is on the ground floor entrance across the street of Krabi Heaven, right next door to the fashionable 'Much Yellow' Cafe where many Thai girls arrive for photo opportunities. The room itself is generously sized. Sure the facilities are aging and old school but functional. The aircon works an absolute treat and cools the room down fast. There is a broad window offering a decent view if the street. The king bed is super comfortable and importantly there are power points on both sides within an arms length. Bar fridge with free water and coffee sachets supplied on daily basis. Only negative might be no lift. I was allocated a room on the 3rd floor but it wasn't a problem for me. The hosts are extremely welcoming and can arrange trips and taxes and other things you might ask for. Overall, for $22 per night it represents tremendous value and is one of the better accommodation sites available in Krabi town.

Wanted to stay in the center part of town. Looked at a few neighboring hotels, dismal rooms for atrocious prices. Rounded the corner, and this one stood out like a beacon, a pre-revolutionary Cuba hotel feel, like the Capri. Great and professional owner. Great balcony on second floor rooms. The owner helped me much in renewing my covid extension visa. Very congenial and accomodating.
