Booked 2 rooms, 1 for me and my partner and other for friends. I was unable to go due to a severe leg infection. I sent the hotel a picture of the infection and told them I was also happy to send them a video with my face and then pan down to infection. The pain was immense and there was no way I could travel to Krabi from Phuket. I advised the hotel in good time, but they insisted on keeping the money. This is simply bad and unethical business. I have a business with strict rules on refunds too, but illness always supersedes those rules, and we will refund provided we have evidence of the illness.
On this basis, I rate the service as terrible. My friend did go and said he has no idea why it is posted as a 4 star hotel. He had just gone from a 4 star hotel in Phuket and this one was way below that. He was glad to leave!
