There are many pitfalls: 1. The water heater is sometimes hot and sometimes cold. I didn't have a good bath after two days of rock climbing. The water quality is as bad as expected. The filter element becomes pitch black after washing once. 2. There is no elevator. You need to carry heavy luggage by yourself. 3. There are no disposable slippers and toothbrushes. I finally went to 711 to buy temporary ones. 4. I booked a room with mountain view on the 2nd floor, but I don't know what room I was given on the 3rd floor. The balcony can directly see the hotel front desk. In short, it is not up to standard.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights at the end of March 2024. The hotel consists of 2 multi-storey buildings (main buildings) and one row of single-storey bungalows. We booked a bungalow house to have a separate room. In the main building there are twin rooms (with a common door). Check-in went quickly. We moved into the very last house, which is located next to the economic zone. Behind the houses there is a large multi-storey hotel, in close proximity to the houses there is a pumping station for this hotel, which was quite noisy (but not critical if you sleep with the air conditioning on). The hotel has two swimming pools - one in the main building area, the second in the bungalow area. The room has relatively decent plumbing (sink, toilet, shower), towels and one-time toiletries are provided upon check-in (then they were not replenished). Smells a little damp, but the smell goes away when the air conditioning is on. The mattress is very hard. I am writing for someone who cares, just like me. At my request, the staff brought 2 mattress covers to my bed, it became a little better, but it was still not comfortable. There is a cafe at the hotel where you can have breakfast and dinner. Prices are average. We didn't eat here. Walk to the sea for 20-25 minutes. Quite far away. Walk 300 meters to the main street, then along it to the sea. We were looking for workarounds - there are none (we read in earlier reviews that there is a path along the mountain, but there is none, so only along the road. You can also walk along the road along a parallel street, along a vacant lot, go straight to the end of the beach, to the monkeys the path to the beach of the Centara hotel. The road itself on which the hotel is located is not noisy, it is a dead end. If you stay for 2-3 days, this is not a problem, if for a longer period or with children, it is better to look closer to the sea, walk along the road. It's too hot. You can book a transfer to the airport at the hotel (the cost is the same everywhere - 150 baht per person by minivan). If you walk from the hotel to the main street and turn left (away from the sea), you can buy inexpensive fruit in the evening. We bought mangoes there for 50 baht per kg, by the sea they cost 75 each, coconuts for 40 baht, pancakes for 30-40 baht. Overall a good hotel for a short stay. In general, Ao Nang is a very noisy resort; after the islands it seemed like an endless anthill. The hotel and the street it is located on are quiet. Warning:

There are a lot of blood-sucking insects. The bed linen is dirty and does not match the size of the mattress. The pool is good, the view of the mountain is beautiful. The staff is moderately polite, delicate, and helpful.
