AVA SEA Resort Krabi

We stayed in the Penthouse..level 6. It’s super spacious and suitable for big group family to spend time together in the hotel. Location is great..walking distance to a lot of restaurants and convenient store just right down of the hotel.

The service is very good, staff there were very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to the security guard, whenever he sees you crossing the road, he will come out to help to control the traffic. Right beside is 7-11, across the road they have Starbucks Watson's and more 7-11

Back at Ava Sea after our first stay in November 2024, and honestly returning in May 2026 just confirmed why we loved this place so much. A special thanks to Pang, Roll and Jez (sorry if i mentioned those names wrongly) for making our stay so memorable. Their hospitality, kindness, and energy genuinely made a difference throughout our trip. They were always welcoming, helpful, and attentive, and it never felt forced. Thank you so much for making us feel home! The room was spacious and well-maintained, and we absolutely loved the view from our balcony (Grand deluxe). Waking up to that view every morning just made the stay even more relaxing. We didn't get to try their breakfast buffet, but everything else about the stay was amazing. Another thing we really appreciate was how convenient everything was. They offer various packages, airport transfers, and bike rentals as well. You can literally check with them at the counter and they'll help arrange everything smoothly. VERY TOURIST FRIENDLY ESPECIALLY FOR RETURNING VISITORS LIKE US!

The staff provide excellent and sincere service. The hotel is in a prime location, very close to Ao Nang, a 7-Eleven, and the pier for boats heading to Railay.

There is a hygiene and cleanliness problem. 1. Our room had a strong musty/sewage smell, especially from the bathroom. The stench was unbearable. 2. We informed the hotel, but receptionist was hesitant to offer us a new room. Eventually they offered a room change after we raised the issue to Trip.com 3. New room had no smell, but overall cleanliness was still below standard 4. Swimming pool had a visible oily layer on the surface (Filtration pump did not seem to be running) 5. Sofa was visibly dirty 6. Slippers provided appeared used and not fresh. There are still dust and hair on the slippers. 7. The fresh towels had hair still on them and they smell funky 8. Housekeeping did not refill body soap. I had to mention this to the front desk twice before they came with the body soap. 9. Bedsheets had holes. On the first night I had requested for refund, but hotel declined as no manager was on-site, so Trip.com offered roughly~4000 coins as compensation to continue the stay. **Overall:** Location was good, and they had lots of good food near the area. However the general cleanliness and maintenance of the property were disappointing. Would not recommend if hygiene is a priority and it was not a comfortable stay. Trip.com was responsive to the chat when i was giving them the feedback in trying to get a replacement room so I appreciated that.
