Hotels near Laem Bong Beach in Krabi

We had a pleasant stay at Glow. Although they had a limited menu at their pool side restaurant, the food was really good, especially their Krapaow Pizza. The pool is pretty decent too. I felt the rooms were a bit small but given the price, the overall experience was amazing. Plus, it's in between the Ao Nang Night Market and Ao Nang Beach. You can find many tour operators and restaurants nearby. You can also catch a boat to Railay at a 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel also has a cute room for your kids!

We stayed in this hotel during CNY, and it was completely booked out. The location of the hotel is good, walkable distance to everything you need: shops, restaurants, bars, beach. The hotel itself is clean, the pool is good but the water is cold. The breakfast is okay. The massage at the hotel was decent, too. Nice place for its price.

Fantastic location, with all the shops, street food stalls and beach meters away. Lovely staff, I was able to organise a packed breakfast due to early flight. The swimming pools span out across the ground floor with pool bar, all are great, especially the roof top one on the 5th floor, amazing views of the nearby mountain scenery. Some refurbishment going on, didn’t impact my stay, hope that change some of the wooden walkboards, as they were worn out. Breakfast finished at 11:00am which was a great bonus, all the usual fair. Room was lovely with a very comfy bed. Overall I would recommend this hotel.

My experience has been okay at this hotel. Walls are very thin and blinds aren’t black out so sleep has been a little bit of a problem especially with very loud wildlife in the Mountain View room (as can be expected for the latter). Mosquitoes are a big problem here and I had to ask for my room to be sprayed daily over my 5 day trip. Hairdryer was damaged in my room. List of charges for mini fridge items was provided but no items provided. However, bed is relatively comfortable and rooms are a good size. They will charge you for any accident (coaster breakage) etc. Service was okay. Highlight for me was rooftop pool.

Superb location with beach access. Room a bit outdated but clean and comfortable. Staffs were friendly, breakfast was ok. Happy with overall stay.

As previously written, this hotel is in the middle of nowhere. It is about a fifteen minute drive to Ao Nang Beach, and 15 to Krabi town. It is by a fairly main road which has a lot of traffic noise, and in an unattractive location next to a petrol station. I asked to move rooms to one further from the road. The room itself was OK. Bed OK. Bathroom OK. TV all Thai channels. No restaurant on site but a short walk from a very good dim sum restaurant where I had an excellent breakfast for £3.00. It is pick your own dimsum from the fridge and they steam them on order. When compared with other hotels I stayed in in Thailand it was very poor value. IN Chiang Mai stayed for £5 more per night in a lovely quiet and spacious hotel. An Nang itself was a disappointment. Lots of neon lights and hundreds of restaurants and dozens of travel agencies. The only redeeming feature was that it felt nearly empty of tourists. Must be incredibly hard for anyone trying to run a tourist related business.

The staff were really friendly but unfortunately after waiting 3 hours to check in I found bed bugs in the bed. I had checked reviews to avoid any place with bed bugs and there was no mention of any on other reviews. I reported in to the receptionist and they changed my room right away and had a cleaner stripping the bed straight away. However there was then bed bugs in the 2nd room, to which I immediately showed the receptionist as she was still in my last room and she just flicked it off and said they will change the sheets. My concern was that if there are bed bugs in two of the rooms on the sheets then there will be more and they reside in the mattress and below the sheets too. I said I just cannot stay there as I do not want to get bites or for my things to become infested. The receptionist said sorry there are no refunds, I read at the desk that there were no refunds under any circumstances however I understand that for other reasons but this is unacceptable and this is a clear health issue and was completely out of my control. I am disappointed with the approach towards this and feel I should have received a refund as I was not there for even an hour. This would have been a lovely stay and the staff were so kind and did try to rectify the situation by giving me a new room immediately but unfortunately due to this issue I would not recommend staying here.

We had previously booked this hotel for a 2020 visit before Covid ruined those plans, so we were looking forward to our eagerly awaited holiday in Thailand. We had decided to travel during the Songkran (Thai new year) festivities, which were unbelievable. So much fun! Our 13 year old daughter (can I say daughter nowadays!!!) had the best time of her life shooting water everywhere. The Thai people, always smiling, are simply amazing. Now, ok, this is a hotel review. We had booked a pool access room by the fantasy pool (the one with the slides). Simply, unless you like people clambering over YOUR small terrace, taking photos while stood on YOUR terrace, jumping in the pool from YOUR terrace, trying to get to their room next door across YOUR terrace, don’t waste your money. It was disgusting, utterly intrusive and bloody ignorant. There are no barriers (and there should be) between the rooms/terraces to prevent this. A joke! We had two sun loungers on the terrace (which people climbed over too) but they were in the shade all the time. Rooms 127 to 131 get no sun at this time of year, so again if you’re a sun worshipper don’t waste your money. The wifi is abysmal. It says somewhere in the room, don’t wait to get home to complain about something, ask the staff! We complained about the wifi almost every day until we gave up. They advertise (incorrectly) that there’s wifi available in all areas. A total lie! The only place you were guaranteed wifi was in the reception area. Or the Green Pepper restaurant across the road!!! I had to pay for 5G everyday to do some work for my business back home!!! And then I get charged for having my room an extra hour on checkout! So much for customer service. A recent reviewer said the breakfast was amazing. No, adequate is the word you’re looking for. It didn’t matter what time you visited, it was packed out, nowhere to sit, no cutlery, no plates, no cups, no food. Everyday we had to ask staff for this, that and the other to be replenished. There was just not enough staff. Apart from 5 behind reception!! On a plus, the room itself was fairly nice with a comfy bed. It could do with more drawer space and more hangers in the wardrobe. Oh and the plug didn’t work in the bathroom sink. On a plus plus, the bar staff at the fantasy pool bar were awesome. A special massive thank you to Soe who was brilliant. One final note, please Ananta Burin Manager/owner, please don’t reply to this review patronising me. This review is a true and honest review. There needs to be changes at this hotel before we ever return. Sorry Soe.

This is our 4th trip to Krabi and subsequently the 4th hotel that we have stayed at. Villa cha cha in a nutshell is everything you want in a resort for a family trip. We booked the beachfront suite and it was nice, spacious and comfortable! The service is overall good but, and this is a minor issue, the food takes time to be served in the restaurant, which basically means you can enjoy more cocktails in the happy hour :) It is a 15 mins drive away from Ao Nang beach but they have a free shuttle service every half hour. Another thing they can improve upon is having another masseuse at their spa. There is only one masseuse and sometimes the wait period is too long!

The service staff in the restaurant are all lovely. Especially the restaurant manager, good service, very cute, take care of customers very well, reception men and driver. Very cute, good service, ready to help I am impressed, but I would like to deduct 1 star Because when booking the room, I wrote a request that I asked for a quiet room Which thinks that the hotel should see and arrange the room as requested, but when I really stayed On the first night, it was quite noisy because the room doesn't keep much sound. When someone playing in the water, they will hear the sound. But we are still ok Because the sound is not so loud that we can't sleep But when staying for the second night There are new customers who stay in the room above. That day, we went diving and when we came back in, quite shocked. because the noise is very loud. Running and playing in the room, smashing our feet. At first, we thought it would be late. He may not sleep at all. But when the time passed until 4-5 p.m. There were children running and climbing the balcony. smashing the door in front of the balcony loudly in the hotel. Which we felt starting to stand Unable Therefore went to show the staff He called the customer for you. Quiet for a while Until we were going to sleep, there was a running and playing in the room Almost all night But I think I can still bear it because it is still lighter than the sound of smashing the balcony door Until in the morning, I was shocked to wake up because a child climbed in front of the room. I feel very uncomfortable And have to wake up because of the extreme noise Both the sound of running on the room The sound of running in front of our room climbed in front of our room I felt uneasy at all, so I had gone to inform the staff. Which the reception lady (morning Shift) has received the matter But doesn't look very careful Not very careful what we have to know So we went to talk to the organizer. The restaurant, which he is very cute. He apologized to us And listen to what we said Until we felt good and impressed him But I want the hotel to pay attention to the customer's request a little Because when we stay The room is not full.
