Hotels Near Krowoderski Park in Krakow

Near the Krakow train station and bus station (that one can catch the buses to Auschwitz Concentration Camp) which can be accessed through the tunnel near the hotel. There are 2 Ibis brands side by side which you can go thru the door of one to get to the other hotel ( instead of going round the building).

This hotel is in a perfect location. Moreover, it can proudly show off the latest interior design trends, which I am always looking for to enjoy. Although our corner room was small, but the space was so well planned that it didnt matter. Real eye candy! A big minus - too soft bed mattress. It made the sleep quality poor. I didn’t have a blast with a breakfast as well: modest variaty of foods, tiny (juice) cups, tasteless coffee and we couldn’t find a place to eat in the tiny main area, so occupied a public lounge table. Staff was really lovely, which always gives additional bonus to any hospitality place.

Overall this hotel is excellent! The staff are friendly and very customer focused. The concierge service is equally excellent and I want acknowledge Johnny. He defines what it means to be a concierge. Everything from restaurant suggestions to handling airport transfers was top notch. Over the course of a week, he never gave us a bad recommendation. He also setup tours for us to take as well! The room (privilege with a full bed) was equally as large as rooms in the US, which was unexpected for Europe. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom/shower was equally large and comfortable. A couple of small dings where noticed in the cabinet finishes but that was the only sign of wear and tear in the room. This was our first time in Krakow and the hotel made it a perfect stay! Centrally located in the heart of the city, it is only a 5 minute walk to the Main Square and dining/ attractions. It is also across the street from a mall if you need any last minute purchases. If you are traveling to Poland this hotel is a must!.

This hotel was just about perfect. Only a 3- block walk to the largest medieval square in Europe and a $2 FreeNow app (cheaper than Uber) taxi ride to Wawel Castle, Schindler Museum, and the amazing Jewish quarter. The rooms are decent sized and very well sound-proofed. Each guest can pick a plant to care for during their stay. You are given a reward if you decline full daily housekeeping. Staff at the front desk and restaurant speak great English and were very helpful. The buffet is great with lots of fresh fruit and the best fish I had in Poland. The shower actually has a door and the AC was great. Views are wonderful.

We recently stopped at the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow for a three-day city break. Let’s talk about the positives first… The hotel is in a great location, it is not too far from the city centre but is on the outskirts, a few minutes’ walk from a large green recreational ground which was lovely. A Bolt (Somewhat a European version of Uber) was almost instantly available at the hotel, and we never waited more than four minutes. A Bolt cab into the city was approximately £2.50 which was great too. The hotel is clearly very new, and this shows with its modern design and use of LED ***** lights which look amazing at night-time. The reception area is modern, has free coffee machines (for use between 1000 hours and 1600 hours) and has a bar within, which again, is very nice. The spa was lovely and is included within the price of the room. We visited at approximately 0900 hours, and it was very quiet which was nice, at one point, we were the only people within the spa. Though, don’t allow looks to deceive you. There were some annoyances with the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow, and I think it is important to raise them. Firstly, the hotel is next to a building site, which is not evident from the pictures of the hotel’s website or online listings. We paid for an upgraded room with a balcony so you can imagine the disappointment when we learnt it was overlooking a very loud and dusty building site – so much so that the balcony was unusable. Secondly, the AC. (Not the name, the air conditioning!). This hotel uses the AC controls which link in with the windows and doors to prevent loss of energy, which is all well and good when it works. Ours seemed to glitch out constantly and as such locked the AC in the off position. We rung reception after spending a few hours in unbearable heat to be told that there was nobody who could help in the evenings and that they’d send someone in the morning. Fine, so we went to bed only to be woken by someone an hour later who said that they had come to look at the AC. We got up whilst the lady, what can only be described as “faffed” with the AC and then shrugged her shoulders and left – without resolving the issue. Now, if we could have opened the window, or the balcony door, to solve the issue then it wouldn’t have been as much as a big deal, yet it was a trade off between unbearable heat or construction site noise and dust. Another annoyance is when we ordered room service. We telephoned down to the bar and asked if they sold “Sauvignon Blanc”. We were told that they did and that it was however much. I asked for two bottles, and they said that they’d send someone up with it. 45-minutes later, the first waitress arrived with a trolley, an ice bucket, two wine glasses and two bottles of Chardonnay. We explained that we had ordered Sauvignon Blanc and that we would be grateful if she wouldn’t mind swapping it for the correct wine. Came here in December 2023 with family. Hotel is in a good location, really close to the main square and markets. The only issue is that the hotel is next to the train line, but I had a room that overlooked the courtyard. Only issue with this is that I was in a room right next to the lift, which could be loud sometimes due to people going past. Rooms were clean, breakfast was nice, and staff were helpful and friendly enough. Definitely would recommend if you're looking for a decent hotel not too far from the town.

Stayed here for a long weekend. The apartment was clean and comfortable with all the facilities you would require. The kitchenette was handy with its kettle and fridge as well as being well equipped with utensils and crockery. The bathroom was a good size with a large shower and the beds were comfortable. The location is excellent and very convenient for eating in the restaurants in the main square and visiting the attractions and sights of the city. The staff were friendly and keen to help whenever we had a question. There isn’t the possibility to store luggage but we were informed that there is a luggage storage facility across the square which was also rather convenient. The price for our stay was great and we definitely received more quality than what we paid, especially compared to standards in other parts of Europe. Overall, would definitely recommend!

We stayed at the Hotel Wyspianski in Krakow for 5 nights. Really can't fault this place at all. We had a lovely large room on the 4th floor, the bed was comfortable and they left free bottles of water for us. The hotel is in a great location, close to the Old Town, the main Market Square, a big shopping mall and lots of other attractions. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious with so much choice. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant a couple of times and the food was amazing. The hotel bar was well stocked with Polish vodka and overall we've had a fantastic time and would certainly stay there again!

Very perfect experience! The hotel is very, very clean, the rooms are large, the facilities are complete, the surrounding scenery is very beautiful, there are large and small supermarket shopping centers. It is close to the station and the central attractions. If you are traveling for leisure, you can actually walk on foot. The service at the hotel was surprisingly good. When we arrived and left the store, we carried big boxes. The front desk staff came out and went to the office to handle the procedures. What is even more touching is that we arrived 5 hours early. We asked if we can save the luggage first. Then we will check back after noon. The girl at the front desk said that I would help you to see if there is a room that is not ready. If you have any checkin, please check it out early and then find a room! ! The service of this hotel is really rare in Europe! European hotels do not provide dental equipment, this must be prepared by yourself, others have.

Well everything is fine, it’s clean n modern. But the location is quiet n bit away from landmarks (it seemed to me that the street is empty, no ppl n shops) though it took 15 mins walk to reach the attractions but nearly nothing you can buy there. So if your looking for hotel that r convenient, it won’t be the best option, but the cost-performance ratio is ok at this £ regarding to the cleanliness n modern design.
