The hotel's location is a bit far away, but taxis are OK. The hotel's leisure facilities are sufficient and great, and the service staff also provide good service with smiles.

The place is very nice, the stuff is extremely friendly and helpful. The pools are big and clean, the jacuzzi is the best in town, not to mention the mountainous views. The restaurant has the best chef and the food is great I had a great time indeed, you have to try this place out.

Still a bit undecided about the experience. The hotel is relatively big, nice view over Krems and the Danube. Parking, Spa, outdoor/indoor pools (very busy), wine bar, decent sized rooms with fridge and aircon, good breakfast buffet and so on. Service and interactions were polite and professional. It ticks all the boxes on the spec sheet. In most interactions with staff members, responses were always polite, yet information was extremely limited and no attempt made to add any details. For example (in German) Q1:” Do you have bikes for rent?” A: “Yes” (Awkward silence) Q2: “What kind of bikes?” A: “City bikes” (Awkward silence again) Q3:”Do you also have helmets available?” A: “Yes” (Here I ended the conversation and rented a bike somewhere else) Reflecting on the actual service quality, the hotel category and the price tag, I feel underwhelmed and would not necessarily consider to return.

amazing breakfast, great relaxation area, great massages, beautiful rooms - super clean and very friendly staff! I got a room upgrade and a complimentary prosecco bottle as a birthday-gift and a hand-written card - so very thoughtful! I was MORE than happy with my hotel-choice! thank you to the WONDERFUL staff team! will definitely be back!

Location was great, breakfast was really good, room was nice, staff inefficient and unhelpful, pool was inaccesible with cruches. It was an interesting stay and not one that we shall repeat, expectations were high but they were not achieved!

Really great and friendly staff at reception and throughout stay . A bit of a climb to the hotel from the bike trail but worth it . Excellent bike storage with charging stations . 2.0 km. out of old town but really scenic area . Facility large and very nice with extensive options for swimming, exercise or just exploring . Room 201 was very clean , large and bright. Very pleasant bathroom . Dinner was very good with numerous options . Great salad buffet with meal . Great inside and outside dining. Breakfast had numerous hot and cold options . Would have loved to stay longer .

we had a great stay. as soon as we checked in (into a non ac room) they were able to find a room with AC for us. the pool and spa are great, and the team are super friendly. highly recommended. the rooms in the new building are amazing.

An extremely disappointing stay. The restaurant closed at 2015hrs on both Friday and Saturday night, but no one told us. There was no information pack in the room. Instead, a small sign directed us to the central HRewards website through which we were expected to navigate to find the local website and try to find out details for the hotel. This was both cumbersome and not obvious. The restaurant was unwilling to accommodate my son's allergies. After much persuasion, they managed to produce a simple meal but it was so heavily seasoned I had to wash it in the sink. After a long delay, I managed to speak to housekeeping about an issue. They promised to fix it. Two hours later, and with no response, I managed to get reception to chase up what was happening. Housekeeping had said they could not fix the problem but had forgotten to tell me! For EUR 340 per night, this was a terrible stay and I would not recommend it to anyone. Unfortunate, since the facilities and location are brilliant.

Best in the Wachau! We were staying over the weekend and liked everything on this house. The Spa , nice rooms, top location an the restaurant. The employees were also very nice at the front desk and also in the bar. We will be back.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. Please do not be mislead by the pretty room pictures while booking, in reality quite many rooms do look nothing like those pictures in reality. Especially in the old building, the rooms are heavily outdated (like from the 70s) and not maintained properly, full with old and decaying furniture and walls. The most disturbing is that these rooms do NOT have an air conditioning, which makes it impossible to sleep in the summer. When I called the reception and tried to signal that at 20:30 it was VERY hot in the room, they said that they there is an AC, but they turn it off at 22:00. I told them that it is only 20:30, but they did not seemed to understand my point and kept repeating the same (I speak fluently german and english). To their credit, they then provided a rusty old and noisy ventillator… Then, while checking out, they finally admitted that there is no AC at all in these rooms, only a ventillation, which failed utterly to provide any fresh air (it was not too hot outside either, but the room got hot nevertheless). With a 4* hotel, this is unacceptable for me. They just explained that they did not say that there will be an AC while booking, which is sadly true. Then, during night and with open doors, eventually the room cooled down a little, but then we had to fight with the many mosquitoes which found they way in (there are no protection grids at all on the doors/windows)… Other points: 1. Breakfast was by far the worst I ever had in AT or DE, cold eggs, stale bread. 2. They said upfront that it is not necessary to book a table for dinner, but upon arrival they said that they are already fully booked and did not even try to find a solution, or put us on a waiting list. After all this, now I am rather happy that we did not eat there.

As you have seen, not all our rooms have a/c, it depends on the category of room that is booked. By each category there is a description both in the reservation confirmation and on-line which either includes or excludes a/c. Of course, we take your feedback to the dinner reservation seriously. We deeply regret that you were not informed in advance of the need to reserve a table, but our front office team have ensured me that they did offer you a list of alternative local restaurants. We have discussed this problem with our reception team and have informed them once again that it is a standard to tell all the guests about the necessity for a reservation, a situation which you will encounter in many other hotels and restaurants as well. We would also like to apologize for the cold eggs which were on the breakfast buffet. It is a shame that you did not mention it to the restaurant staff as we would have immediately replaced them from our front cooking station in the restaurant. Our bread is delivered fresh to the hotel every morning from a local bakery so we do not usually have any problems at all with its quality. Our apologies that it did not meet your expectations. Once again, we would like to thank you for your valuable feedback which will help us to improve our services.
