"I beautiful hotel on the Danube in Duernstein Austria. A beautiful place to stay for a few nights to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. The town is very compact one street with many shops and a few restaurants. It becomes very crowded when a river cruise boat stops. The breakfast room was wonderful and the Hostess was the best! The staff was wonderful and Maria and her husband the owners of the hotel could not have been nicer. She was always at the front desk during the day to help with any problems or advise us on things to see. The elevator is a little small and difficult at times to get on during the evening just before dinner"

"I strongly recommend staying at the Loisium when in the area. I was amazed by the modern architecture of the building and the classy interior design: be it the lighting in hallways, the glass-elevators or the design of the spa. This hotel gives you a very natural feel and makes it seem it was always there in between the vineyards... I want to highlight the quality of the food! The breakfast buffet quality was beyond everything I have ever had in a hotel. The selection of charcuterie was the finest, sliced so thin it would melt in your mouth. The apricot cake was the best! Homemade jam... I mean everything was so high quality, I could have spent hours eating. So was the dinner! Considering the quality of the food, the prices are more than reasonable and the staff is super friendly and well trained. Their knowledge wines is impressive! I also enjoyed the spa and even prolonged the spa experience on the check out day until 18:00hrs for only 15 EUR. No question I was gonna do that! The gym also offers everything one could need if they really HAD to work out :-) I highly recommend this place and I am definitely coming back for a week-end getaway real soon! Thank you!!!"

"We have celebrated our wedding in the Emperor's court and couldn't be happy with this choice. We have felt well around in the preparation: the planning was very professional, patient and individual, so that we could make our celebrations very according to our own ideas. On the wedding day our expectations were even overcome. The entire team was warm, careful and committed – you felt they were with joy. This resulted in a relaxed and simultaneously festive atmosphere that we and our guests enjoyed very much. A absolute highlight was the food and drinks: first-class in quality, beautifully decorated and tastyly just excellent. Even long after the celebration, guests have spoken about how enthusiastic they were about it. The ambience of the emperor's courtyard is unique – elegant and stylish, but at the same time warm and invited. This was just dreamingly beautiful, especially in the evening when the lights made it almost magical. We look back with gratitude to this unforgettable day. For us it was the perfect location for our wedding – and we can recommend the Emperor's court for anyone who is looking for a place for a special celebration."

"Not a good hotel. The rooms are very dated, with furniture and fittings that look like they haven’t been updated in decades. Most things are either broken, worn out, or barely functional. There is no air conditioning, which made the stay very uncomfortable. The rooms are consistently 5–10 degrees warmer than outside, and the old, drab furniture just adds to the stuffy, claustrophobic feeling. As the other reviews have said, the hotel is basically half of a building site. Construction starts early in the morning and is extremely noisy, which completely ruins any chance of rest or relaxation. The location is also poor. It’s right on a main road, so there is constant traffic noise, day and night. To make things worse, the only way into town is via a narrow, dark road that takes about 20 minutes to walk. Not convenient at all. Service was very mixed. A few members of staff were polite and helpful, but others were shockingly rude. At times, staff were openly disrespecting each other in front of guests, which made for an awkward and unprofessional atmosphere. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Outdated, uncomfortable, badly located, noisy, and with inconsistent service."

"No shower curtain, wash cloths, towel bar, soap or shampoo. Only 2 coffee pods. No laundry facilities despite advertising. No fan or air conditioning. Scene out the window was a rooftop. Would not return for the price. "
