Ok, lite slitet överlag och ojämnt korridorsgolv. Dubbelrummet vi fick var rätt så litet, ganska liten säng men bekväm. För övrigt inget extra. Frukosten var dock superbra och läget toppen.

Rummet hade ytterst svag belysning. Sänglampan mycket svag. Duschblandaren var omöjlig att ställa in och det var supervarmt vatten. Gick inte att få det "icke skållhett" vilket medförde att morgonduschen uteblev. I övrigt så var personalen vänlig och frukosten fräsch. Jag blev utlovad kompensation för duschen i form av poäng i medlemsprogrammet.

I visited my hometown of Kristianstad together with my partner and we wanted a comfortable hotel in a good location. Grand Hotel was perfect for the situation. It is located only a two minute walk from the train station as well as the main shopping streets. The front desk staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. The hotel is in good condition and the room was spacious and clean. The gym is well equipped and I believe there is a sauna as well although we did not get the opportunity to use it. The highlight of the stay was probably the breakfast buffet - an excellent selection of Swedish goodies in a calming environment. We also tried the meatballs served at lunchtime which were authentic and so delicious. Overall an enjoyable experience and highly recommended.
