It's average, like a motel, and the breakfast is not good.

Nice view on water, some construction work on waters dge but on hold while we were there. Quiet area not far from city for shopping.

Thon hotel was such a fantastic discovery. Immediately after this stay we booked the one in Alesund and can tell you that the whole chain is definitely the place to stay in Norway. Comfortable and, for what you get, also moderately priced. The place is beautifully designed with a boutique hotel vibe and if you get an ocean facing room you’ll feel like you’re floating on a ship. The whole hotel is inspired by generosity and kindness and you’ll feel the love the moment you get in. The staff was incredible, the breakfast is to die for, check out time is comfortable and even their special secret candy is the best I ever tasted. Highly recommended.

Nice Hotel and a at good location. It is easy to park and the free ferry nearby can take you to the other parts of town (but not on Sunday)

There is only one restaurant serving buffet on Sunday night. Better go back to town for dinner and avoid the buffet.

Room was clean but a bit bizarre - literally sleeping in an old warehouse with bare pipe work and rough beams. Staying ground floor with just a front door to outside - no option to open a window for fresh air and obviously couldn’t leave the door open all night!

Good view and convenient location, parking may not be easy if arriving late in a busy night

Warm and cozy room right on the waterfront there in Kristiansund, plenty fo transportation to the different islands around, big/little ferries, cabs and plenty of places to walk.
