Ab vom Schuss mit tollem Restaurant
Das Hotel ist nicht mehr ganz neu, hie und da könnte es ein Update vertragen: So war z.B der Wasserdruck beim Duschen sehr mau, das Wasser lief zudem am Schraubanschluss des Brausenknopfs heraus (konnte ich ohne Werkzeug nicht festziehen), kontraproduktiv. Zimmer recht ländlich eingerichtet, war aber so beschrieben. Ruhige Gehend, ab 5 Uhr früh hört man ein paar Flieger im Landeanflug auf Frankfurt. Gutes Frühstück und sehr empfehlenswertes Restaurant (hatte leider am Montag geschlossen). War am zweiten Abend dort und sehr positiv überrascht. Personal sehr freundlich, kostenloses Parken vor dem Haus (Sackgasse) gut möglich. Empfehlenswert wenn man es ländlich mag. Mir hat’s gefallen!

Wir waren für zwei Nächte im Landhotel Windlicht und haben uns auf Anhieb sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und freundlich und das hübsch eingerichtete Balkonzimmer mit Blick auf den angrenzenden Wald versprach Ruhe und Entspannung. Das Abendessen im Hotel übertraf alle Erwartungen: Der Service war sehr freundlich und persönlich. Hier gibt es noch einen Brotkorb vorab sowie den selten gewordenen "Gruß aus der Küche". Hervorragend waren die Vorspeisen, Hauptgänge und das Dessert. Stilvoll ist die Tatsache, dass je eine Getränkekarte, Speisenkarte und Dessertkarte gereicht wird. Das Frühstücks-Buffet ließ keine Wünsche offen. Diesen kurzen Aufenthalt haben wir sehr genossen und werden hier ganz bestimmt wiederkommen. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team.

An out of the way hotel, quiet, fabulous restaurant. Room needed updated towels, sheets, toilet paper, and soap. However the food served is consistently fabulous. We stayed 4 nights. Room was not as requested and no one to greet us upon arrival…we found the chef after 30 minutes waiting and calling out, etc. He gave us key to a room he said was the last available. The meals and servers made up for the hotel’s minor shortcomings. Why is the chef not noted in the website description? He and his staff deserve much praise!
