Cojoy Hotel @ Chinatown Kuala Lumpur

The room was quite clean, and the location was excellent, right next to Petaling Street. However, the facilities are a bit old. There were a lot of foreign workers (possibly Indian) around the hotel, which made us girls feel a bit unsafe, so we didn't dare go out at night. The hotel front desk staff speaks Chinese, which was very helpful.

The room was decent and functional, with comfortable bedding. Just remember to book a larger room, as the standard ones are quite small. The location is absolutely fantastic! You step right out onto Petaling Street, and Merdeka Square and Masjid Jamek are within a 10-minute walk. Central Market is also right next door. Dining is super convenient – I highly recommend Ho Kow and Nam Heong, plus there's an elderly lady in an alley who's been selling laksa for 60 years, and it's truly delicious. Everything is within walking distance. For first-timers, it can be a bit overwhelming, so staying in a place like this makes it much easier to navigate. The staff can communicate in Mandarin and even took us to buy local specialties. It's also very convenient to buy souvenirs at the nearby Central Market. The lobby has plenty of tables and chairs; we even bought some fruit and preferred sitting in the lobby chatting with the owner and listening to the stories of people coming and going – it was really pleasant.

Clean and quiet hotel with a strategic location near Petaling Street (Chinatown) and Pasar Seni station.

The hotel's location is great, near Chinatown, making it incredibly convenient for dining, accommodation, and transportation.

Stayed at the hotel for two days. Convenient location, very clean, although it's an older hotel. We enjoyed everything.

Super close to Petaling Street. The front desk staff also speak some Chinese, making check-in easy and stress-free. The hotel environment is great, with a rooftop terrace for relaxing, and a seating area on the third floor too.
