JW Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur

I stayed at the JW Marriott for both the beginning and end of my trip to Malaysia. I already reviewed it after my first stay, and to sum it up, everything was excellent. It's great for both business and family trips, highly recommended. I want to thank a staff member in the hotel's main lobby; I regret not asking for his name. We approached him for help with an issue, and he quickly arranged for assistance. He, along with two other colleagues (one male, one female), helped me resolve the problem. I extend my sincerest thanks to JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur and these three employees!

The location is super convenient for shopping and dining. The room is also spacious, but it's a bit of a maze to get to, probably because I had the last room on the second floor. The bathtub is a bit small, but everything else was pretty good. Breakfast was decent too.

The location is super convenient for shopping, essentially the equivalent of Wangfujing in Beijing. The service in all aspects was also excellent. For a price of nearly a thousand yuan, staying at this hotel is definitely worth it, highly recommended. The only downside is the 3 PM check-in time. Although I arrived close to noon and could go out for lunch before coming back to check in, it would have been even better if I could have checked into the room to freshen up and rest before heading out for lunch.

The hotel was clean and tidy, and the front desk service was excellent. The soundproofing was also great, which was a huge plus for me as I'm a light sleeper and easily disturbed by noise. I wasn't bothered at all during my stay. The hotel's location is superb, with shopping malls within walking distance. It's also conveniently close to many tourist attractions, all easily accessible by taxi.

This booking was a last-minute decision due to a flight cancellation caused by a typhoon. I extended my stay for the original room and confirmed it a day in advance with the front desk staff who spoke Chinese. He was very friendly and provided excellent service.

As my grandpa said: 'Location, Location, and Location!' The Pavilion Mall is right across the street. It's a 10-minute walk via the skybridge from Pavilion to KLCC and the Petronas Twin Towers. The room hygiene and service were five-star. Breakfast was average, not very good. I even found a hair in my noodles, which was disgusting. Summary: Highly recommended for its incredibly convenient location. I recommend the signature pork tripe noodles at Bamboo Noodle House on B1 of Pavilion, and the signature shredded chicken and prawn noodles at Nanyang Restaurant. Also, Tiffany & Co. at Pavilion is about 15% cheaper than in China. Plus, Chanel cosmetics are slightly cheaper (2-5%) than at duty-free shops like Sun Dream. And finally, the last picture shows the bill from Bah Kut Teh at Bao Xiang Lou on the 4th floor. The taste was mediocre, and it wasn't cheap, with an additional 10% service charge and 10% tax. Not recommended.

Great location, right next to Pavilion. The facilities are a bit old, and the 40 sq meter room feels smaller than a 40 sq meter room in China. The service was good though, everyone was friendly and greeted us.
