Very centrally located hostel (right on the Main Street of China Town). The single/double rooms are decently priced but they’re not very clean. Mine smelled a lot like cigarette smoke (despite all the warnings not to smoke). The amenities are very simple, the room and bathroom are at the lower end of still acceptable clean.

The place is decent,for the price. I was in Malaysia way longer than expected and moving from a single room hotel to Kitez was the best decision for myself. The place is in the midst of markets, food shops all around and made life so easy. The hotel personnel was very kind and helpful and they even look at your body side before assigning bunkbeds so that you don't struggle going up 🤣🤣. Sheets are clean and changed every 7 days. Card access to the room. However, it's not so easy to locate because of the markets hahaha and the bathroom was so small. If they could improve on cleaning the bathroom basin and seat it would be perfect but the cleaning guys do come everyday.. AC available but gets switched off at,certain times but fan is always on. Temperatures so good in the room. No toothbrush, toothpaste, blower, shampoo, slippers provided so carry these with you. And deposit is required on checking in....20rm for bunk beds and 50rm for big rooms. For bunks be ready for noise and getting annoyed too at times because...at most 6 people from different backgrounds 😂

Excellent location right on Jalan Petaling. The check in was smooth. My dorm room was ok, but many guests seemed to be longstayers with unappealing characteristics making the room unpleasant. The toilet and shower were also ok.

The location is perfect for shopping in Chinatown. WiFi good. The female room is quiet.

The staff are very unfriendly, they don’t make you feel welcome and they don’t even smile at you or address you sometimes. Terrible customer service skills. There was no toilet paper in my room when I checked in, I had to go and ask them for it and when I did they only gave me one small roll. There was also a water jug and two glasses in my room but the jug has no water so I don’t even know what the point of that was. They should also really have a kettle and a mini fridge in the room. The location was great for me, right in the midst of Chinatown. Just keep in mind that if you’re not an early riser it’s best to not book a stay here because the mosque that’s very close-by begins its morning prayer at 5:30-6:00am and it is very loud and woke me up every morning. Since I prefer to wake up early it wasn’t a problem for me. The room itself was very clean, great space, sturdy cupboard, and good bathroom. The AC works great, and efficiently cools the room down. The bed is very comfy. The wifi is also fast. Please note that the hotel takes 50 MYR in cash when they give you your hotel room key card which then gets refunded when you return the key card at check out. So make sure you bring cash or conveniently there is a bank opposite the hotel where you can withdraw money with international cards at the ATM.

Many long tenant and they already know each other so sometimes can be noisy but the staff very helpful and nice.

Hotel is located in petaling street which is good for shopping and you can find all types of Indian food, western food, Chinese food

After covid ı saw this hostel worst very dirty , see before booking, location and reception area best , cleaning team is not enough , center of the china town

I got a valuable experience and will come here again next time :3
