If you want a hotel in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, the Kuala Lumpur Journal Hotel is the best place to stay. With the nicest staff I have ever met.

Located in downtown but a very narrow alley which lead traffic jam and many driver don’t know where it is. Room is big but furniture not in good quality equal to 3 star or even more lower level little hotels. Especially point out , outlet can not use, My laptop can not work for a whole night. Receptionist well done, nice talking make you feel in home. Wish room get new decoration for gust better stay feeling.

My first time here.. very strategic location near all food places and bukit bintang area, Room is clean and cozy, great scenery from the room, staff are friendly, breakfast is great.. Everything about this hotel is just great..

I really like the place in the middle of the city where the monorail and mrt station are just nearby and very easy to find food.. overall a very recommended hotel..

BreeZe Check in & Out Receptioninst in night shift Aiman is helpful with issues that we had. Reception on morning shift Riduan ( i guess thats his name, on 21 june,) has great initiative with helping us with our luggages onto our transport. Great location, near to malls, famous food stalls and mrt. Hotel room is super clean and neat with daily housekeeping. However, The sink tap and shower tap need proper cleaning as its trap with scum and grime. Self service laundry is a plus++ Swimming club is beautiful and kids enjoy their swim. Breakfast buffet is ok, not much variety. And Nasi goreng is labelled as nasi lemak. 🙃 Very much thanks to Frontdesk Aiman( night shift) & Riduan( i think tts his name, morning shift on 21June)

Walking distance to Bukit Bintang MRT, variety of food stalls available, lively area and wonderful staff who assisted us when we needed assistance regarding the air-conditioning in our room!!

Location is really good, within walking distance to all the malls. Service was great, staff were polite and helpful. However, the cleanliness of the room was really disappointing. There were strands of hair everywhere on the floor, which is appalling. Tried asking for housekeeping assistance when we got back to the room at night but they do not have 24 hours service. Hand and body wash, and shampoo were also not replenished. There was also a “fishy” odour in the bathroom. Not sure if it’s only for the room we were staying in but I wouldn’t stay here again for the rates we paid.

Outstanding services from the front office to the waiters to the security guards on duty. The hotel is located right in the prime shopping district of KL and you won’t be hungry or be lack of choices within 15 mins of walk. From 24hrs McDonald to 24hrs Muslim Indian cafes is right at the hotel’s doorstep. The immediate vicinity seems to be extremely popular with the Middle Eastern tourists. Avoid (turning right) roaming into the dark alleys late at night as there are some dodgy characters (probably migrant workers) loitering around. There is a stark contrast of different ethnic majority between one street and the next. One can truly feel and experience the “territory division”. It is fascinating for the more adventurous city travellers. I will recommend this hotel to couples and group travellers.

Everything great except surrounding behind there, more complicated people show up into night But if you love nightlife is totally different things ~

Avoid the room 602. It has a constant mechanical noise from mechanical or plumbing duct nearby. It never stopped even in night time. Other than that, hotel itself is ok and location is convienient.

Overall, everything is fantastic, but the makeup room service requires constant reminders. On the bright side, the front desk staff are incredibly friendly and helpful."
