Grand Hyatt? No, thanks. Never ever again at any location.
I made full payment in advanced for 4 nights, breakfast included. During front desk registration I’ve been asked to provide deposit. Ok, that’s the policy of the hotels these days.
I have UnionPay card, it is fully functional and has no limitations. Moreover, I payed for the taxi on hour before at the airport using this card, and late all across Kuala Lumpur.
But particular Grand Hyatt was unable to proceed with my card to obtain deposit. I gave them 1/2 of the deposit in cash to be able to go to bed after all. And now they decided to push me by sending letters.
Guys, send them to your banks to fix local issues. Stop bothering me!!! It’s not the level of service one expect from Hyatt. Once I’ve got the same situation at the Marriott and they just skip the deposit part for good.
Not to mention breakfast at the bar… The restaurant just can’t accommodate these amount of visitors. Are you fine with it? To be true the possibility of making own fresh juice mix is amazing as well as a girl pressing it for you.
Tried lunch there… No, thanks! Where did you find the chief???
Pool. Yes. Definitely. Second floor - but fine.
Malaysia is the 52nd country I’m visiting and next time I definitely book Four Seasons instead.
