My friends and I had a buffet dinner at your house last Saturday. We received a warm welcome from your chefs and of course from the service staff. Chef Lau, executive chef, chef umang, chef laila, chef aspalela (sushi station), the chef who makes live kebabs, and all the chefs whose names I didn't recognize were all very helpful at the dinner . They are all very friendly and always smile to all their guests. The food is amazing, delicious and worth every penny. We tried all the food that night.

We escaped to the Federal Hotel after spending two horrible nights at the Royale Bukit Bintang Hotel next door. We packed our wheeled suitcases and came directly from next door and found the staff to be very hospitable and friendly. We told the staff about the issues we had experienced at the Royale Bukit Bintang hotel next door and we asked to be checked out first to see the quality of the room. Although the room was a bit dated, it was clean! There's nothing we can complain about here. . . The location is also very good.

Federal Hotel is located in the Bukit Bintang shopping district. Check-in was slow, but our 3-night stay was only MYR 240 including buffet breakfast, which was great value for money. Our room was just the right size and reasonably tidy (the carpet needed a more thorough cleaning), but the king size bed was severely sunken in the middle. The swimming pool is really nice. The Federal Hotel is suitable for budget travelers with a 3-night package, but not suitable for honeymoons or extended stays.

We went to the Federal Hotel in Bukit Bintang in October 2022. Unfortunately, the Hotel is closed. We were told by the security staff that it would not re open until next year. Has been closed since the recent problems of 2020.
