Been staying here everytime i'm in KL.
Unfortunately my last trip there was rough. Called house keeping/front desk for 30mins and no one picked up. This was at around 8pm. Had to go down to actually find people to help me out. Unfortunately my bed was... not at tip-top shape, feathers were poking out of the bed and when i woke up i had a couple of scratches here and there.
They definitely need to work on their after care / customer service/support. But other than, it's a great hotel.

I've stayed here in the past. It's located between KL city and Petaling Jaya and a stone's throw away to Bangsar. The new Pavilion shopping mall opened recently which is just steps away.
Sofitel is a gem of a hotel. The hotel is equipped with great facilities which caters for one and all. The club rooms look smart and the decor is pretty up to date.
The new GM was welcoming despite his busy schedule.
Service wise, there's room for improvement. The staff are actually great people. It's part of the management's responsibility to develop, instill and refine the hotel's service culture.
I would certainly consider staying here again.

Our second night there was good. It’s my hubby’s birthday and they nicely send a small cake to the room. Witt my request… I don’t know if they’d do it without my request, I mean, they checked and took a copy of his passport when we checked in, so hopefully they would do this to all guests
