Hotels in China Town, Kuala Lumpur

Convenient location. Stayed for 3 nights. Room is clean and the firm pillow is something that I liked. Most hotels pillow are too soft to provide good support. Housekeeping done on 3rd day as per hotel guidelines with bottled water replenished. Aircon is a bit too strong though, despite setting at the lowest fan speed. Will consider coming back to here if visiting KL again.

The location is very strategic, close to pasar senior station, I love my stay here, defitenly will come back again. Hope the hotel can provide hair shampoo and shampoo

1. First of all, the hotel's front desk staff, especially the young man, was very helpful and responsive to any questions or requests, which made me feel very secure. 2. The interior of the accommodation was quite good and well-equipped with everything I needed. 3. The hotel's location is excellent, with many popular attractions nearby and close proximity to public transportation (rail transit) stations.

The hotel is within walking distance of Petaling Street and Central Market. After exploring the area and grabbing a bite, we took a Grab to Sungei Wang Plaza and Pavilion, and in the evening, we went on a 'sunset coaster' ride! The Moxy's design concept is pretty good, and the staff are very dedicated. A special shout-out to the guys at the breakfast cafe – even though breakfast service was very slow on the weekend, they tried their best to resolve any issues guests brought up! The room wasn't as small as I expected; the space design was very efficient. It had a chic, minimalist, and practical vintage vibe! The pool on the 9th floor had a great view, but I didn't have time to swim, just took a quick look around. Since we got back very late that night, it wasn't until just before bed that I noticed bloodstains on the Simmons mattress and pillow inserts! Even though the sheets and pillowcases were clean, they were thin enough that the stains still showed through. It was too late to bother with the front desk, so I just put up with it for the night. When checking out, I mentioned it to the guy at the front desk. This is definitely something that needs attention!

Spacious and comfortable room, fast WiFi reaching 300mbps. While the breakfast didn't have many choices, for a Malay person like myself, the menu was sufficient and delicious. Complaints: 1. The pillows were too soft, even with four provided. It made sleeping uncomfortable. They need to add more filling to them. 2. Room 1202 was quite disappointing because the window was extremely dirty from the outside. No effort was made to clean the exterior window! It ruined the view! 3. The breakfast menu could benefit from adding more traditional Malay pastries like curry puffs, kuih lapis, or donuts, as most of the current options are heavy. Choices for vegetarians were also quite limited. Western breakfast items such as omelets, pies, and baked beans should ideally be available.

Returned to Hotel Transit for a two-night stay recently. My comments about the hotel are as follows : (1) Location : The hotel is a good option to consider if your main interest is to visit Petaling Street in view that the latter can be easily reached by walking. However, there is a notable distance between here and the Bukit Bintang tourist area if you wish to visit Pavilion, Sungei Wang Plaza / Plaza Low Yat, Berjaya Times Square. (2) Facilities : The room is compact and comfortable, and the amenities are basic. There are convenient stores nearby (99 Speed Mart, KK Super Mart) for visitors to pick up additional items, food and snacks. There is a self-service launderette close to the hotel for your laundry need. (3) Food & drink : The hotel does not offer breakfast. There are a number of eateries / restaurants nearby, and plenty more options in Jalan Sultan / Petaling Streets albeit a bit of walking is needed to reach the places. Overall, I think Hotel Transit is good value-for-money option for a short period of stay.

This hotel offers incredible value for money! 🤗 And the staff are super friendly. They sent me photos with directions before I arrived on the same day, which made it so easy to find. I booked a twin room, but they upgraded me to a two-room suite, which made my trip so much more comfortable and spacious. The location is perfect, directly connected to MixC Mall, making it super convenient to get there. You can see the escalator connecting to MixC Mall as soon as you exit on the 8th floor. In the evenings, you can even catch a mini laser show from your window. I realized I left some clothes in the wardrobe after checking out, but they took great care of my lost belongings – I'm so grateful! And to top it all off, they gave me a Qingdao magnet as a farewell gift. Thank you so much! 🙏

The room space was generally fine, but the bathroom facilities were a bit old-fashioned. There was hair in the sink, and the shower head was a bit crooked, making it hard to control the hot and cold water. I stayed for one night, and the location was convenient.

Although the room had no window, it was still very comfortable and perfectly fine for a short stay. The room was simple but well-equipped, and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. A hairdryer and bottled water were also provided, which made the stay more convenient. Overall, considering the affordable price and excellent location, it was definitely great value for money. The location is absolutely tip-top—only about a two-minute walk from Masjid Jamek LRT station, making it extremely convenient to travel around KL. There is a McDonald’s in the same building, and plenty of popular shops and eateries nearby, including ZUS Coffee, Luckin Coffee and KFC. Everything we needed was within walking distance, so finding food and getting around was never an issue. Do take note that a RM50 deposit is required upon check-in. The most heartwarming part of our stay was the hotel’s honesty and helpfulness. We accidentally left a phone charger behind after checking out, and the staff kindly kept it safe for us until we returned to collect it. We were genuinely touched and extremely grateful, as their honesty made us feel very reassured. This thoughtful gesture left such a wonderful impression on us and made the whole stay even more memorable. A very convenient, affordable and trustworthy hotel with honest and helpful staff. We truly appreciate their great service and would definitely consider staying here again!

It’s perfectly located right next to Masjid Jamek LRT station which makes it incredibly easy to get to anywhere around the massive city if Kuala Lumpur. Just 10 Mins walk from China town ( Petaling street ) and only a few minutes away from the famous Petronas twin towers. Friendly staff who checked me in within 2 minutes. The room was clean and comes with a comfy bed so, yea I would definitely recommend it.
