I had a pleasant short stay at Cititel Hotel Mid Valley. The location was incredibly convenient, with easy access to shopping and food options. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and efficient, making check-in and check-out smooth. Overall, a great stay and definitely worth recommending!

Stayed for two nights. Overall, the hotel is quite nice and the bed is extremely comfortable. However, breakfast has very limited food choices and it gets boring after the first day. I previously booked the same room type and it came with a coffee capsule machine. This time I booked two nights at an even higher price, but there was no capsule machine in the room. When I called the front desk, they insisted that my room type didn’t include it — which was disappointing. Despite this, the overall stay was still pleasant.

My room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, offering a peaceful atmosphere after a long day of exploring. The location was ideal, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and major attractions. The breakfast buffet had plenty of fresh and tasty options, and the service was fast and efficient. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, providing excellent comfort, great value for money, and a truly welcoming experience.

My experience at the hotel has been very good so far. The check-in process was quick, the room is clean and comfortable, and the staff have been friendly and helpful. Overall, everything has been excellent up to this point.

I am a regular customer at this hotel, and I always stay here whenever I return from overseas. However, this is the first time I have felt unhappy, uncomfortable, and disappointed with the hotel. I checked in around midnight and planned to sleep in the next morning. Early in the morning, someone kept ringing the doorbell and said, “Delivery.” When I opened the door, two men informed me that they were there to service the smoke detector. I was not informed of any scheduled maintenance in advance, and I had no idea how long the servicing would take. I called the front desk to confirm whether they had sent anyone to service the smoke detector, and they said yes. I am puzzled as to why I was assigned this room if the hotel was already aware that maintenance would be carried out early in the morning. This incident unfortunately disturbed my rest and affected my overall stay experience. I sincerely hope that better communication and scheduling can be implemented in the future to avoid similar inconveniences for guests.

The unit is quite spacious, which is nice. However, cleanliness could be improved. There were no face tissues or bottled water provided. The location is alright, convenient enough for getting around. Only the air conditioning in the master bedroom was properly cool, the one in the second bedroom and living area felt more like a fan, there was no cold air. Appreciate that the RM200 deposit was voided.

Great location with Mid Valley mall and Gardens Mall beside. The LRT station is also close by with linking bridges. The room is spacious and clean, like the idea of filling up water with flasks. It would be good if there's a small rack or holder in the shower area for guests to put their own toiletries. Good variety breakfast except that there's only two types of tea bags. Porridge is good with a lot of condiments.

The room was clean, and the bed and pillows were quite soft. The front desk staff during check-in were not very friendly, but the staff during check-out were much better. Parking fee is RM5 per entry.

We had booked the St Giles Gardens Hotel instead of the St Giles Residences. When we arrived, we were told that the Gardens Hotel was closed for renovation and that we were relocated to the Residences instead. To be fair, the Residences had been recently renovated and the service apartment was clean, with the flooring re-laid with vinyl finishing. Overall, the rooms were clean, the amenities were nice and there is a 24/7 lounge with free hot drinks and biscuits. However, I had paid an additional SGD20 to book the Gardens Hotel instead of the Residences, so it is not fair to put me in a cheaper accommodation without prior notice. In fact, why was the hotel still listed as available for booking if it is closed for renovation? I called Trip.com to enquire about this, and Trip.com offered me compensation in the form of Trip Coins, as the hotel was unwilling to do anything. Therefore I am only giving 1 star for the hotel service.

My stay at Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Bangsar was excellent from start to finish. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. What really makes the difference is the amazing staff — always smiling, polite, and ready to help with anything you need. The location is convenient, just a few minutes away from Mid Valley and other main attractions. The breakfast was tasty and had a nice selection every morning. I truly enjoyed my stay and felt very well taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a pleasant, clean, and friendly place to stay in Kuala Lumpur.
