We stayed for two nights.
The washroom and service is very nice!
BUT the aircond will automatically off. Need to turn on again every 3-4 hours😩 We ady inform counter but not fixed And we found few ants on the bed😢
The soundproof needs to be improved also. If the room face to the road u may hear the noise from Bar especially on Saturday night.

nice location.. easy to go around.. not too far from main bazaar to buy souvenier, waterfront, easy to find something to eat as well.. the staff is nice, room clean and quite big, for breakfast at hotel, need to use own creativity, porridge, laksa, bread, salad and other condiment. but overall its a very nice place to stay and move around.

Location right in the middle of the city with some rustic charm because it’s dotted with colonial era buildings. Close to nearby eateries and bars with access to a convenience store across the road. Room is clean and well maintained. Good for business trip stay or tourism.

Very well located hotel, in Kuching we did everything on foot starting from Meritin hotel. Breakfast is good en generous. Staff is very friendly. Our room was large with a very good bed. Very good value for money.
Only point that could be improved is more attention to do detailed cleaning of the room, we found that our room could be better cleaned (still some stains on the floor e.g., washcap from previous people was still in the bathroom), so this is an attention point for further improvement. All in all very statisfied with our stay in this hotel.

During my recent stay at the Meritin Hotel in Kuching, I was once again reminded of why this hotel is my go-to choice whenever I visit the area. The hotel's excellent location and fantastic value for money never fail to impress me. The consistent quality of service and the overall wonderful experience I have every time I stay here make it a top pick for me. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Kuching!
