Best Hotels near Durian Menoreh Mas Joko, Kulon Progo Regency

Hotel is beautifully built, nice big room and breakfast has a lot of choices. As a 4 Star Hotel need more amenities and a good coffee and tea inside the room especially we booked and stayed in 3 Executive King rooms. I hope it will improve later as this hotel is just newly opened

Located a very convenient 5 minutes courtesy shuttle ride from the new YIA airport but too far (1 hour on express train!) from Yogyakarta city. So a peaceful retreat for a quiet relaxing break or a simple overnight, preflight stopover. The hotel is still looking as brand new as it only opened one year ago! Public areas and facilities are all immaculate condition and clean. Smallish pool area on ground floor is obscured by the shadow of high rise tower so only gets the direct sunshine in the morning. There was no pool attendant on duty at the times of my visits, a bit worrisome as very young kids were left unsupervised and playing in the 1.7mtr deep pool - though it was evident to me that none of them could swim! Management please take note as this is an accident just waiting to happen...! Room was large, comfortably furnished with all the modern conveniences you could want or expect including an extensive 24-hours F&B room service menu. In-house laundry was very reasonably priced and efficiently quick. A pleasant outdoor terrace and indoors the rooftop bar/lounge with spacious seating and wrap around windows looking out at the countryside scenery. A live band was playing each evening at the time of my visit over the Xmas holiday period, but sadly there was never more than 3 or 4 other guests sat in there on any evening. Bar staff were friendly but quite limited in their ability to speak English, so if like I was, you're a Solo guest be prepared for a quiet evening!

The hotel counter is situated at the arrival hall. The staff accompanied me all the way to the hotel, which is at level 2 of the arrival hall. She even offered to help me with my wheeled luggage and did checking-in for me. Again she ccompanied all the way to my room which was the last room at the corridor. Very impressed by her customer service. As for the room it's quite decent, bed a bit low to me. There's stains on the sink. The water pressure is just nice, just that the room short of hair dryer. Good for overnight stay no need to wake up too early for the morning flight.

We chose this Resort because it is located about halfway between the airport and the main attractions of the area: the center of Yogyakarta (accessable in 30-40 minutes of car), Prambanan and Borobudur (both about an hour and a half of car). The Resort is, however, outside the main streets, in a area fully dipped in the green. The staff, made up of young boys, speak English and is very ready to accept guests' requests. The room was a small independent villa (in total there are a dozen sp**** along the property), very spacious and elegant but at the same time ‘natural' with a lot of wood), with a bath bed. I understand that in Indonesia it is a kind of tradition, but unfortunately, despite the first approach being 'wow', we cannot finally ignore the problems: first, the discomfort of having a 'outdoor' bathroom; second, The fact that in an environment in the nature inevitably there are insects! Comfortable breakfast service, which is agreed the day before and then brought directly to the room at the time chosen. The Resort also has its restaurant, located about 1 km but accessible with the free ship that is made available to guests. The Resort also offers the airport ship, Even if at a price above the average, there is also a beautiful pool we haven't enjoyed.

As always, to maintain the level of aman, there is a special person to pick up and pick up luggage from the plane. The ritual check-in experience is superb. The Indonesian fried rice and noodles are especially recommended. As soon as you go out, you must be cleaned and your items returned to the room. Although it is the rainy season, the sun is shining in the morning for half a day, and the night pavilion is really content to listen to the rain. The hotel has a variety of activities such as watching Borobudur sunrise, horse riding and picnics, the service is good, and of course the fees are higher. It is said that since February 6, the hotel will be renovated behind closed doors. After all, it has been in operation for 22 years. I look forward to the new look and the better.

So happy to back to this lovely city. Zest Hotel is always being my top priority when visit this special city. The location is very strategic, nearby city, Malioboro, Lempuyangan station etc. Zest Hotel will be your perfect accommodation choice during stay in this city. I was greet by Chacha, Rindi, and Aditya that assist during check in time. They were awesome, understand and know how to make the customer feels like home. Putra also give very quick service when i asking to deliver something to my room. The restaurant was good as always, Eka greet me with warm smile. Well, this is not my first stay at this hotel. And definitely so happy to stay again. The room was good, clean, and tidy. The Room Attendant have great hospitality. On this occasion was so special, since i went with my wife. The service was beyond my imagination, since they give us a memorable surprise in the room. Well we are not asking any special arrangement during reservation, but they did it. So touchfull ;-) Thank you Zest for always being my second home in Jogja and make our vacation more and more than happy ^_^

When I booked this Hotel by phone, the staff gave a good and polite explanation about the Hotel surroundings, when i did check in process on 02nd of January 2021 i got a warmly greetings from the front office staff, he explained all of policy this hotel during we stayed with smiles, although I didn't see his smile because he was wearing a mask, but I could feel it. We got a complimentary 1 bottle hand sanitizer during we stayed, that was a special concern for guests and made me feel well cared as a guest, especially during the current pandemic. We stayed in room 307, the room clean, tidy, quite, with the best view in the morning, full toiletries, and 2 bottles of mineral water with large size 😊. The pool clean with floor not slippery on the roof top. Breakfasts delivered to the room on time, good taste with the right portion and not over. I hope this hotel always gets high occupancy every day and continue to maintain the best service for guest, success for all employees, especially for Mba Feby, Mas Gregory, Mas Zayn, Mas Halim, Mas Awan. I highly recommend this Hotel for you guys who need a good place in the jogja. 🙏🏿😊

Stayed here with my family. Had an amazing experience started from the time of booking, the reservation team was very attentive and helpful. Prior to my arrival they did a courtesy to make sure everything is well prepared when I arrive at the hotel. Location is very easy to find and not far from city center although it doesn’t feel like you are in a city at all. Once you enter the resort you feel like in a very calming vibes and a sanctuary place. I arrived and greeted by Ekky and Ervita. Ervita escorted me to the room and showed all the feature in details and even let us enjoy in room afternoon tea during sunset which was incredible nice. Ekky was very helpful while assisting our luggage and took us around for a hotel tour. During the stay, I have requested some items to be delivered and they were promptly provided in a timely manner. I ordered dinner from ghetto restaurant and they were served nicely in the room and the taste of the food was good. I would like to mention some names as their providing memorable service during my stay ad well. Thank you for Lana, Viyo, Zhani, Rachel, Victor and Humam for making our stay memorable. Although I would like to comment about the breakfast. Restaurant ambiance is very nice but unfortunately the overall food was below my expectations. The food options were adequate but the tastes and quality somewhat did not harmonize with the great resort and services. I’m assuming finding the right supplier is also a key for this. but, indeed i enjoyed the breakfast. One last thing is about the Guest Motorcycle parking. We rent motorbike and we had to park in the staff parking so it was a bit of confusion for us as a guest and employee seeing us strolling around in your back area. Overall, I would love to come back if I visit Jogja again in near future. What I enjoy the most is the great service from the staff and that’s all what matters after all. Great product and service! A great luxury hotel to stay before or after a long flight. The breakfast gets better and better every time I stay. Rooms are new and pristine. Quick 5 minute or less ride to the yia airport.
