The front desk service was excellent! They had a great selection of complimentary amenities. The free seaweed soup was delicious, and the room even had a refrigerator. Plus, it's only a three-minute walk to Sakuramachi Shopping Arcade.

It was quite a nice hotel, spacious rooms with a cheap yet plentiful breakfast buffet. close to multiple big shopping areas with lots of resturant choices.

Conveniently Located, but Wouldn't Return Due to Room ConditionOn the bright side, the hotel has an excellent location. It was easy to locate and surrounded by various attractions and convenience stores. The staff at the front desk was polite and accommodating as well. However, the room condition was disappointing. Right after checking in, I noticed a severe musty smell reminiscent of damp, old laundry. Thankfully, the friendly staff provided a handle to open the window, so I aired out the room while eating dinner outside. However, the room was extremely small.

The hotel is clean and fascinating, quite near city centre with easy walking access (within 15-20min to all places). Kumamoto has so much to offer - food, nightlife vibes, and more, especially Kumamon the cute lovely mascot of the city!

An excellent hotel. The location is very convenient, a 20-minute walk from Kumamoto Station or a 10-minute tram ride.
The reception staff are courteous and attentive.
Essential items can be collected on the ground floor.
The room was on the very top floor.
The beds are large. The cleaning service is excellent, with towels changed daily.
Perhaps the only drawback is the lack of sufficient space to open a large suitcase, you have to jostle about to do so.
At one point, the room became quite stuffy, the air conditioning didn’t help with the air circulation, and the window couldn’t be opened. I realise this has been done for everyone’s safety.
