It was very close to the station and convenient.
There was a restaurant nearby so we were able to enjoy local cuisine, and the hotel staff was very helpful in arranging a taxi quickly.

Its very near to railway station. Romms are good, clean and neat, stay was really comfortable. Staffs are very friendly. Food also very good but cost wise too high. Otherwise all the thing is good. Definetly recommended friends and family.

I am really very happy to say that I could easily found the Hotel Vinayaga opposite to Kumbakonam Railway Station. I came stay here for a week from 12th to 17th of this month. My stay was really comfortable. The staff both in the reception and in restaurant are doing their service with real smile which tempting me to come and stay here often. Their service are really appreciable. I bless them all being an elderly citizen. 🌺🙏🙏🌺

Date: 13-jul to 15 jul 01. The front desk assistance was good;
02. Lift functions were operative;
03. The size of the room was enough to accommodate 2. 04. The room's complimentary coffee bar was missing with sachets. 05. Toiletries were missing. 06. The hot water service was 24 hours and satisfactory. 07. Surprisingly, the water bottle was costing more than the printed mrp. 08. Room service and food quality and wifi were average. 09. Power outrage was frequent but generator back was at place. 10. Checking out procedure was quick.

This is my second visit. A decent hotel. Hygiene and tidy. No hiccups atall. Restaurant linked with this hotel is really costly. Hot water after 7am wouldn't be such hot it would be luke warm. Overall a decent stay.

We stayed for 3 nights from jul 6 to 9 at hotel vinayaga by poppys. Location is right opposite the railway station and most of the temples in kumbakonam are nearby too. Room was spacious and well maintained with good ac. Staff was courteous. Food was good at the hotel, however there are ***y good restaurant options available outside. Only drawback i see is that there are noises from outside vehicles since it is on main road. I recommend it certainly for short stays upto 3 days if your purpose of visit is to go around temples in and around kumbakonam.

Was there on 26th jun e 2023 for devotional trip. Hotel is just exact opposite to railway station. Restaurant food is average.
