Hotel diamond is situated at an excellent location, right on the prime road in kumbakonam. Very near to sarangapani and someswarar temples. Just walkable distance. Even though there's no restaurant attached with the hotel, they provide room service, from the nearby restaurants. Very good restaurants are located close to this hotel, like gowri krishna, venkatara***a etc. We have tried both, as recommended by the kind g caring hotel staff, and found them really really tasty and economical. No harm to the health.

over all good.However Aircondition was working on and off.I have to call mechanic every time to make A/C work. In the bath room the tap was not properly fiited

car parking in a prime location sorruoned by bazar
and temple shopping etc

1. Requested for additional bed sheets for children ( booked extra beds).. but not given
2. No holder for Hand faucet in toilet..it was lying on floor.
3. EWC flushing was by buttons..very hard to press.
Good points: room size was large...driver was ok with his accommodation in dormitory

Comfortable stay! the rooms are nice but the curtains & accessories needs to be addressed! the ac was functioning well & it provided the much needed relief from the sweltering heat! the hotel could have a tie up for at-least providing tea coffee on payment! safe parking space available & the hotel is centrally located at kumbakonam! thanks for the stay!

The hotel is good, but the problem is they are very particular about the check in time. Even 15 minutes they are asking us to wait at the reception until the check in time(14. 00 hrs. This is something people travel for long distances they should consider allowing them.
