Hotel Ambadi

Ambadi has excellent cottages that are pretty, clean and we had a great stay. Their in house restaurant offered the best food I’ve had during the trip

Property in terrible conditions,no maintanance at all. I booked duplex room, that one was totally abandoned room, shabby, cobwebs, broken furniture, horrible toilets. After complaining they shifted us to another low category normal room, which one also ok..ok type,not up to the mark. Totally my money & mood was in vain.

I booked a deluxe room but on arrival the cottages looked better than deluxe so I requested for a refund of the differential amount or a complimentary breakfast (or any complimentary benefit) as I was downgrading my stay. The hotel clearly denied as the booking was from MMT and they don’t get any commission or full fare.

It was an average experience. hotel location is good but the rooms are very old. Management is helpful. overall an average stay

Don't be misled by the pictures. These may be old pictures. The room was small and smelled of dampness. The floor were not cleaned for a long time and was sticky. There was one small wooden almira for storage. The bathroom walls and roof was full of seepage. It smelled really bad due to no cleaning or maintenance. The walls were old and slimy. The bucket was soiled and we were shocked to see muddy turbid water from the taps. There was a bath tub that was old and dirty. No running hot water. If you needed, you have to call some number from your mobile. Obviously no intercom. Just one charging point. There was a TV. Didn't check if it worked, because we could hardly stay in the room. It was soffocating. Lucky none of us fell sick as expected. We didn't dare to taste the food. Won't recommend this place to any one even if it's for free.

This is a 45+ year old property in the heart of thekadi and gives a haweli vibe. The staff is friendly and good.

We had the worst experience staying here. The room was not maintained at all. The door was jammed and somebody had to push from outside to get in sometimes. There was no proper room service. Did not provide water, or toiletries such as soap, brush without complaining. Charged extra for additional water bottles. Food in the restaurant was worst, we all got food poisoning and struggled throughout the visit.

Very nice stay. spacious rooms and staff was very polite n helpful. Thanks MMT and Hotel Ambadi for a nice stay.

no hygene, no hand flush on toilet, odd smell in rooms. poorly maintained rooms, no food facilities
