We stayed one night as part of a group tour. The room was basic, but noisy, with the noise from the room above penetrating down and a near constant gurgle of water through the bathroom pipes. The evening meal was very poor quality. Even the rice was dry and tasteless. The breakfast (American Breakfast) was cold and poorly cooked. These are the first poor meals we have had in 5 days in Malaysia. Glad it was only one night.

We were lucky to get a room as in advert. Large balcony looking out over to Mt Kinabalu. Very quiet, room approaching luxury for us on Sabah tour? Nice walks in area. Food was good, no alcohol in restaurant but beer available in little shop to take to your room. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

One of the worst resorts I have even been to. Room is basic, no heating despite the cold. Bathroom was unsatisfactory as well with the area near the toilet bowl being really cramped. There was once we spotted a whole lot of ants on the bathroom floor. Food was basic and nothing to write home about. There was no wifi and mobile reception in the rooms. Overall an atrocious experience which the spectacular view could not compensate for. Strongly recommend AGAINST booking this place. So glad we were there for only a day.

The hotel was comfortable. We had adjacent rooms, which was nice. The rooms were spacious and clean. They had a large wooden deck wit bougainvillea flowers and a beautiful view on Mount Kinabalu. The restaurant was good. We only stayed one night.

We asked the staff a few simpel things and it took them 1,5days to answer… how come the staff doesn’t know about the busses, about hiking trail in the area,… Further, in the time we stayed there, housekeeping did not come once. We had to ask about extra toiletpaper.

To be honest the term resort is a bit of a stretch and some of the amenities could do with a facelift, however the the overall appearance and location put me in mind of a ski chalet minus the snow. For those with mobility issues it may be difficult to negotiate the step walk to cabin if at the high side of the property and the stairs leading down to the breakfast and dining area. I was lucky enough to have an uninterrupted view of Mt Kinabalu from my porch and despite some other reviews heard no traffic noise.

The rooms are very clean and the food was plentiful. The views are lovely but is is close to the main road so there’s some road noise. The gardens are beautifully maintained. Wasn’t a problem for us but there are quite a lot of steps up to the resort and the rooms.

It is located quite close to the main road. Can hear cars late at night. The room a bit dated but it is clean and comfortable, so is the bathroom. Breakfast is set and you have to place the order during dinner time. Beautiful garden and a fantastic view of mount kota kinabalu.

Stayed here for 1 night on our way through from east to west coast. The rooms are clean and comfortable and pretty quiet. Great views to the mountains in the morning. It does get a bit of traffic noise as it’s on the highway though. Breakfast included which was good and staff very friendly

I don’t think I’ve ever rated a hotel as 2* but I can honestly say that this is the worst place I’ve stayed in the last 20 years. The room was large, light and airy and the bed was reasonably comfortable. On first inspection the bathroom looked ok until I closed the door. It was disgusting as was the ceiling. There was a constant smell of urine that I would associate with a dirty public toilet. Tried dinner that evening. Not a nice environment or nice food to a point where I didn’t bother with breakfast. We were doing a 2 day 1 night trip to the mountain and the park along with Poring Springs from KK. With hindsight we would have done a long day trip and skipped the overnight part. In fact had we been under our own steam and not with a driver and a guide, we would have left the hotel and headed back. The setting would be amazing in nice weather and the rooms have nice balconies but what a massive disappointment
