Clean and very nice design hotel and room very well design and good size. Wifi need to make more better. Breakfast average good. Location in heart of top tourist area many things and shops and plaza walking distance in front and around. I will recommend it.

Super happy with this hotel and their services. Travelled for so many years, to so many countries and this is the first time, I’ve seen a hotel that provide free laundry service, and you just have to leave a note on the washing machine w your room number and the hotel staff will send the wet laundry to the dryer and sent it to your door step for you by 6am. AMAZING SERVICE THIS IS! I was so impressed!! There is welcome drink at the lobby and u can help urself to the drinks. There is free porridge if u feeling hungry from 8-11pm. And the big library in the lobby is clean and cosy. And I must give praise to this superb staff 栩叶 who went out of his way to help me settle the luggage courier using his own shunfeng account because my overseas HP couldn’t log in. He helped to pay first and I transfer him back after. Super friendly and helpful!! THANK YOU 栩叶！谢谢你的帮忙！感激！ I’m surely going to highly recommend this hotel to my friends who are visiting Kunming. Pic 2: Hotel is beside Four Point Sheraton which makes it easy to find and book DiDi taxi. Pic 3: opposite the hotel this particular shop serve nicest noodle that all the kids love. Excellent Stay in the Heart of Kunming I stayed at Atour Hotel Kunming (Nanping Pedestrian Street Old Street) for one night on 1 June 2025, and it was easily one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in Kunming. The hotel appears to have been recently renovated, giving it a fresh, modern, and stylish feel throughout. We booked a Superior Queen Room, which was exceptionally spacious and thoughtfully designed. The room was well-equipped with all the amenities you would need for a comfortable stay. The standout feature was undoubtedly the bedding. The mattress and pillows were incredibly comfortable and supportive—we slept so well that we nearly missed breakfast the next morning. The bathroom amenities were excellent, and the heated toilet seat was a particularly nice touch, especially considering how uncomfortable cold toilet seats can be. The only thing missing was a bidet, which would have made the experience a perfect 5/5. Another feature I appreciated was the hotel’s robot delivery service. Food deliveries are received at the lobby and then sent directly to your room by robot, which was both convenient and fun. The lobby and breakfast restaurant are located on Level 7, which also houses a well-equipped gym and complimentary self-service laundry facilities—great additions for both short and extended stays. Location-wise, the hotel is hard to beat. Situated right in the heart of Kunming’s city centre, surrounded by local streets, markets, shopping malls, and plenty of dining options, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, facilities, service, and unbeatable location. I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to Kunming.

Atour Hotel never disappoints. The rooms are spacious, and the beds and pillows are great. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Kunming's old town.

Excellent location Excellent amenities. All staff are very friendly and courteous. Breakfast is great too. The complimentary porridge supper is a plus for me.

This is my 2’d time to stay in the hotel. Overall very good experience. The only negative feedback is the cigarette smell in the room. We didn’t request to change the room since we checked in late and stay for 1 night only. Hotel service desk did explained that they can change a room for us if we highlight to them in advance.

Great location to exploring the city! Hotel staff were super friendly and helped us with many questions including late checkout! Breakfast was delicious and the pillow/bed from atour brand is amazing! My wife and I had an amazing stay and highly recommend this hotel!

We are writing this review while staying in this hotel now. We have traveled from Feilai Shangrila a 5-6 hours drive and a 4.5 hr train very tired and sleepy at 11pm but were greeted with good service at the reception and was happy that the reception staff said that she will UPGRADE us to a better room and also mentioned their best room. They also mentioned that they are doing this so that we can write them good review. We were so happy, but when we opened our so-called “better room” we were greeted with a room with an opened window and smelled like someone just smoked in the room. Though the room is big I checked what I have booked and realized that it is still the same size same type of room that I have booked no upgrade at all as mentioned by the staff. The so-called “smart toilet” can only flush in different way but no bidet washing function which are available in many other hotel. I was disappointed that if they mentioned there is an upgrade, then they should give me a better room but yet we were given a less than normal room that we have booked. We were disappointed and tired to ask to make any changes. By the way the toilet will flood after our shower. It’s mentioned in the features of this room to have rain shower but we are getting a spray shower that spray towards the glass door and cause water to flow toward the door making it slippery and dangerous. I will not recommend this hotel as there are many other better hotel that is cheaper yet offer better updated features in the room.
