Nice old feeling temple-like hotel in the middle of town. They upgraded us to a beautiful room overlooking the courtyard with good showers. Friendly and helpful staff that are eager to help. Also a big variety of breakfast to choose from! Would definitely come back

We had a wonderful night at the hotel. The receptionist XiaoLi is very prompt and helpful with our requests and even helped us with our heavy luggages. The hotel is also near to the walking street which is very convenient for us. Highly recommend it!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this boutique hotel, especially the beautifully preserved ancient architecture, which gave the place a unique charm and character. The room was thoughtfully furnished with a wonderful colour scheme, and every detail—from the lighting to the overall layout—was well designed and comfortable.
Cleanliness was excellent throughout the hotel. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, and they kindly showed us the room with the bathtub, which immediately confirmed our decision to extend our stay for another night.
We also loved spending time in the courtyard and appreciating the landscaping, which added to the calm and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, this boutique hotel perfectly met our needs for relaxation and for appreciating traditional architecture and courtyard design.

Nice hotel with beautiful architecture. The room amenities is good, with almost everything you need including even a humidifier which is great especially for a very dry climate in winter. Near to the hotel there is also a nice steamboat buffet if you want a quick meal.
The only down side is that the hotel doesn’t have a lift. But the staff would carry the luggages up for you. If you need directions, the

The location is quite central yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle. I absolutely love the classic, ancient-style design here; it's elegant without feeling dated. The service definitely deserves praise—the front desk staff were incredibly warm, polite, and always ready to help.

Moonlight Courtyard Hotel is a cultural themed hotel in Kunming. The location of the hotel is very strategic with easy 10-15 minutes walk from Nanping Pedestrian Street and Kunming Old Street. The hotel is clean and room amenities are complete. The reception is very helpful especially in helping us with our luggages when we need to catch the taxi. Breakfast option include the Crossing the Bridge Noodle which was delicious. We would recommend Moonlight Courtyard Hotel.
