We've just got back from probably our best family holiday ever here. We read the reviews and wondered if they were too good to be true. Nope, everything was just as amazing as it had sounded. We have 3 girls aged 13, 12 and 10. The apartment was super spacious for us including a lovely terrace and beautiful view of the sea, palm trees and pool. The apartment had a washing machine which was a nice surprise and clothes airer for the terrace. Two bathrooms for 5 of us which was really useful. Beds were very comfy and air conditioning worked perfectly. Lots of plug points to charge everyone's devices/kindles etc. The cleaning staff were brilliant and very efficient. I'd like to see the towels changed less frequently if anything to save on energy and water as it's not necessary and the hotel seem quite conscious of trying to be more sustainable. The food in the hotel is stunning. There is an absolutely vast choice for every meal and mealtime windows cover nearly every waking hour along with the different choices of bars alongside the main restaurant. Everything we tried was delicious and there was something for everyone. Lots of vegetarian and vegan choices too if that's your preference. The whole honeycomb was a real showstopper and delicious. The pool was spotlessly clean every day, water slides were super entertaining for the kids, the choice of the adults only pool is really good for those without kids, and the entertainment was great. The kids loved the foam party. We all really enjoyed the fire artists and the Mongolian circus, not so much the Colombian dancing but it's free so no problem! Staff were all super friendly and helpful. The hotel and all its areas are kept pristine and cleaned constantly. It was such a lovely relaxing environment to be in. We went in mid-April and the weather was amazing. 26-28 degrees each day, perfect for sunbathing and not too hot for sightseeing and day trips. We had the most amazing day in Ephesus which I highly recommend to anyone who's interested. We also really enjoyed visiting the town of Kusadasi. Bear in mind even though lots of prices are in Euros, a lot of places will only take Lira or card (even when prices are in Euros), and most places don't take Euro coins even if they take Euro notes. Probably best to get a combo of Lira and Euros and a credit/debit card for payments if you're planning on excursions. We had a fab meal in the a la Carte restaurant which is included if you book 7 nights. Really good service and much nicer wine than in the buffet restaurant! The whole holiday was just amazing and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. We are all desperate to come back at the same time next year!
