Kusatsu Onsen Ryokan Yoshinoya Reviews

We arrived early (about 11:00) at the ryokan and were met by a very helpful young lady receptionist who spoke good English. She accepted our luggage, arranged a ground floor room for us (my wife has difficulty climbing stairs) and recommended us where to eat and what to do. The room was clean and sizeable. The bed was comfortable. The ryokan provided a simple buffet breakfast (much to our surprise and delight).  It is located just a short distance from the Yubatake and is very convenient.  Overall, we are very happy with the ryokan. 

The ryokan is perfectly located near the bus station and the city center. The onsen is great and the room is good.

It’s a warm n cozy hotel

The room is clean, the facilities are complete, and the location is good. The reception is warm and good.

It was close to the bus terminal and the Yubatake, so I was able to take walks there and there. The room was spacious, but it was old, so I could hear footsteps and other sounds quite often, which was quite a shock. Only four people could use the bath at a time. The staff were very friendly.

The room is big and the location is very close to Tangxi!

Helpful and nice staff greeting us in the front door. Her smile and thoughtful assistance shall be the greatest scenery of the hotel. She is good at English which rarely seen in Japan's Hotel. Hotel's hot spring a bit small, can have another experience during visiting Kusatsu. Hotel had a souvenir corner which is recommended. I purchased the Onsen Power which in good quality. The room is big with all facilitate you need, there are public shower location on each floor offering additional options, even the hot spring is full you can enjoy a shower there. Awesome location with valuable price.

"It is the right choice to stay in Jianoya for accommodation in Kusatsu this time." Our choice for this trip to Kusatsu is to take a bus from downtown Tokyo. When we arrive at the bus stop in Kusatsu, it takes a short walk to the hotel, and the location of Jianoya is also very close to the famous hot field. It is super convenient to use the hot spring in the palace. The space of the room is very spacious, the bed is also very comfortable, and there are 24 small The bathhouse is highly recommended. You can live here! “這次去草津的住宿選擇入住佳乃屋是十分正確的選擇” 我們這次去草津的旅遊選擇是從東京市區搭乘巴士前往，到達草津的巴士站走路一下下就到了飯店，而佳乃屋的位置走到著名的湯田也非常的近，前往使用御座的湯超級方便，房間的空間非常寬敞，床鋪也非常舒適，還有24小時的浴場，非常推薦，大家可以住這裡！

Great ryokan stay while visiting Kusatsu. The staff are very friendly, helpful and they try their best to answer our questions. The location is great, walking distance to the bus station, the center of the hotspring attraction and the famous public onsen. The hotel onsen and bathing room are small. But we took showers when we enjoyed the public onsen. Simple breakfast is provided daily, not lunch & dinner. There are lots of restaurants and street foods are available on the streets. This ryokan is a great Japanese experience. Note: some restaurants closed very early for dinner.

Room is clean & staff is very helpful. Unfortunately, I can't enjoy the public bath as I am surprised by the hot temperatures which is out of my limit. Went on late February, it start snowing at night and can get very cold so be prepare if you visit around that time.

Nice and comfortable ryokan to stay with aesthetic and spacious room, most importantly is a very hygenic place too. Excellent free light breakfast is also provided. The staff services is also top notch.

The ryokan location is excellent (walking distance from the town Bus Station and Yubatake - Town Central area). Staff is very friendly, pay attention to your requests. it has a small onsen which we used everyday. Simple (but tasty and heathy) breakfast was included. The Ryokan doesn't offer lunch or dinner but there are many nice eating places within walking distance. We stayed 2 nights so enjoyed the amazing night atmosphere/scenery of Yubatake. If we come back to Kunatsu Onsen, we will stay at Ruokan Yoshinoya again.
