Novotel Nara (Opening September 2024)

The rooms in the new hotel are large and have no special features like other domestic hotels of the same level. The location is not in the center, so transportation is not convenient for travelers. Although you can take the bus, the bus fare in Japan is not cheap.

I grabbed a sofa. The hotel had just opened. I guess I was the first guest in the room. The price/performance ratio was very good. There was also a small hot spring on the second floor. It was considered to be in Rome as the Romans do. Recommended

They did not replenish the cakes when they ran out, and there was not much food in the evening or at night. There were only snacks, no hot meals. They did not replenish the cups when they ran out, so you should not expect the same as you would in a lounge at another hotel. The restaurant was a buffet both in the morning and at night, but there was not much to choose from and the hot food was lukewarm. There was a line of people waiting to enter in the morning. There was clearly a shortage of staff, and food, tableware, and towels were not replenished, and no one cleaned up the tables after meals. The scales in the large public bath were covered in dust. When I told the staff about it, they said "I'm sorry!", but they left it as it was. It's just not possible! I want my money back.
