My friends and I were traveling with our kids. We booked this B&B and that B&B in Toji at the same time. Three families happened to live in two rooms, so the kids could stay together. It's run by the same Chinese. I added WeChat in advance. The service was very attentive and they even helped me make a reservation for the famous local roasted bird restaurant!

The host was very considerate and provided a lot of useful information. It was a great trip. The room is clean and you can make some simple food. I will choose here again next time I come to Kyoto

The accommodation is clean and comfortable. Toji Temple is nearby, as well as supermarkets and izakayas. Traveling is more convenient. The boss will also enthusiastically introduce the route map and travel guide. Will also recommend to friends to stay here.

It was the first time that my husband and I came to Kyoto and we chose this B&B to stay for 5 nights. It felt very good. Warm and familiar Japanese style, located in the middle of Japanese houses, you can truly experience life in Japan. The B&B has convenient transportation. Buses, Kintetsu and Shinkansen are all very convenient to reach various attractions. The host also thoughtfully provided various itinerary and transportation strategies, as well as information on surrounding convenience stores, supermarkets, Chinese dumpling shops, Japanese izakayas, and Japanese food restaurants, all of which are only a few minutes away. Extremely convenient! Next time I come to Kyoto to see cherry blossoms, my husband said he would come to this restaurant again.

The room is really clean, it is very quiet surrounded by residents, the door of each house is uniquely decorated, and there are views everywhere! Because I brought two old people with me, they are not used to Japanese food! I cooked a few meals to let them eat hometown food! The B&B is very convenient to Kiyomizudera Temple. It only takes 3-5 minutes to walk to the station. It takes about 20 minutes to reach Kiyomizudera Temple, Hanamikoji, and other scenic spots! Kyoto is still a place worth staying for a few more days. Personally, I like to travel quietly and slowly. I prefer Kyoto to Tokyo and Osaka!

The facilities in the house are very complete and clean. The Japanese room makes you feel very relaxed You can take a long bath in the bathroom The bedroom is very comfortable and the tatami makes me sleep well. I really feel that staying for one night is not enough There is a supermarket nearby where you can buy some simple food and cook it yourself. We bought a bento and came back to heat it up Then I bought a small meal bag and microwaved it for breakfast the next morning. I spent a day on holiday🤫 I will really come back next time The landlady is a nice person and she also provided us with Kyoto travel guide. A very pleasant stay I will definitely come back to stay in Kyoto in the future. You can take bus 208 to and from Kyoto JR Station Really recommend!

A classic one-family house in a mature local community (small area, steep stairs, not suitable for people with weak legs and feet), just renovated, with a Japanese red maple in the backyard, very exquisite. There are washing machines and various living facilities, but it is best to go to the nearby self-service laundry, which is a 1-minute walk away, to dry clothes. The kitchen can heat food and make pre-made boxed lunches and cold buckwheat noodles sold in nearby supermarkets. We arrived in the evening, and lined up in the waiting area after leaving Kyoto Railway Station to get a taxi. The driver circled the neighborhood several times but couldn't find it because Google Maps positioning was not very accurate and there were many one-way streets. Later, I tried Uber, which was much better than the overseas version of Didi. A few days later, when I played nearby, I got off Kyoto Station, didn't line up in the taxi waiting area, went to the shopping center in the south, opened Uber, and called a taxi directly. The driver drove directly according to the Uber map.

A small Japanese villa with local characteristics, very clean, small but complete. Two of our friends stayed together and slept well on the tatami. We will come again next time.

I was very satisfied during my stay. The room was very clean and the landlord was very nice. I forgot to prepare a toothbrush. The landlord helped us order takeout in the middle of the night. Thank you very much. I will stay here again next time I come to Kyoto.

I originally wanted to book a hotel, but I accidentally saw this small villa with a courtyard and fell in love immediately! Accommodation with a small courtyard is what I like most about Kyoto! The location is very good, convenient to various attractions. There are two large supermarkets nearby where you can buy and cook your own meals. There is also a washing machine for easy rest during the trip. Overall, I am very satisfied! What I like the most is the bicycle at the door. Kyoto is really suitable for riding. This bicycle is much easier to ride than the domestic shared bicycles. Our family rode from our residence to the edge of the Kamogawa River in the early morning. It was perfect!

I think it's the best place to experience the life of the locals in Kyoto. Compared to Tokyo, the rhythm of life in Kyoto is relatively comfortable, and it is a beautiful place to experience life. The bedding set was clean and I had a really good rest until I woke up. It has a beautiful small courtyard, is clean and tidy, and has convenient transportation. There are bicycles at the entrance to Kyoto, and it is very comfortable to live in.

My children lived in a Japanese-style courtyard villa a few years ago, and they wanted to experience it again this time, so they chose this Japanese-style one-family villa newly built in 2022. The stay experience was very satisfactory. The B&B facilities are exquisite and practical, and full of details, meeting the needs of our family of three. There are 4 24-hour fresh food and convenience supermarkets within walking distance in the surrounding area. After a whole day of playing outside, you can complete various supplies on the way back. The B&B is located in a residential area near Toji Temple, with a quiet environment. There are bus stops in both directions, providing direct access to Kyoto Station, Gion, and Shijo. There are also public bicycles available at the door. Unfortunately, our schedule was too full and we didn’t have time to experience it after registering. The Chinese-speaking butler was warm and considerate, prepared the directions in advance, and cared about us every day to help solve our problems. All in all, this was a pleasant B&B experience and worth a second stay.
