This hotel in Kyoto, located right by the Kamo River, was very spacious. Downstairs, there were plenty of places to eat, drink, and have fun, and it was within walking distance to all the major attractions. Most importantly, it offered great value for money.

This hotel is conveniently located near Kyoto's Kamo River, about a 10-minute walk from Shichijo Station on the Keihan Line. You can step out and enjoy a riverside stroll, especially lovely during cherry blossom season – the surroundings are really nice. There are also plenty of convenience stores just a 4-minute walk away, which is super handy for grabbing anything you need. The room itself was clean enough. My main issue was the staffing; it seemed quite understaffed. The front desk person was also doing housekeeping, so when I arrived to check in, there was no one at the front desk. Luckily, another guest was there and could make local calls, so we used the mobile number the front desk left to reach them. This part wasn't great. What if someone like me can only access the internet in Japan and can't make international calls? It would be even more difficult for elderly guests.

Self check-in was convenient, but they don't offer luggage storage after check-out. The room had a microwave, fridge, and humidifier. It's very close to Kiyomizu-Gojo Station, and Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Kyoto Station are within walking distance.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise, far exceeding my expectations, especially considering the great price and excellent value for money. The room wasn't huge, but it was perfectly clean and well-equipped. The location is also quite good, about a five to six-minute walk from the JR station. However, I did notice some white sediment in the tap water at times. I'm not sure if this is a common occurrence in Japan or a cleanliness issue, but it's something to be aware of.

The look on the male Indian staff member's face after reading my translated request made me incredibly uncomfortable. It reminded me of the discriminatory men in that Indian movie about sanitary pads. **, a slap across his face would shut him up. 6. Basic necessities were also lacking. The front desk had no record of things like charging services, luggage storage, sanitary products, or general daily necessities. Don't even think about asking. 7. The water wasn't hot enough for a bath.

Couldn't open the window in the room, and there was a high-frequency whistling noise from the window by the bed at night that couldn't be fixed, seriously affecting sleep. However, the area around the hotel is lovely and very quiet.

When I booked, I was drawn in by the attractive price, but I didn't realize it was a smoking room. Upon check-in, I felt quite uncomfortable with it. I discussed it with the front desk, and she told me I could only stay in a smoking room as all the other rooms were full. Since we were still feeling uneasy, we sprayed an air freshener, which indeed helped a lot. It's small but has everything you need. The shower was pretty good though.

I have to give this hotel a bad review. First, the price is too high. I paid over 900 yuan for two nights, expecting a buffet breakfast. What I got instead was a small box of cold bento and a bottle of tea, which I never drink. Second, the location isn't good; it's 1.5 kilometers from the train station, a 20-minute walk. Third, it's in a residential area, very quiet but with no supermarkets or restaurants nearby. Fourth, the Indian staff were unfriendly. When I found out breakfast wasn't a buffet, I was a bit upset, and he told me I booked an economy hotel and that I wouldn't get a refund even if I didn't eat it.

The location is great, right by the Kamo River, making it convenient to take both the subway and bus. The front desk staff are all Southeast Asian migrant workers, and communication was smooth. You can store your luggage on the day of check-in, but not after check-out.

Terrible. There were hairs on the bed, and I could clearly see black spots on the sheets. After lying down, my whole body felt itchy. It was advertised as a room with a window, but the window was covered with paper and couldn't be opened. How can a window that doesn't let in light and can't be opened be called a 'room with a window'? Absolutely awful. The promotional pictures showed disposable slippers, but when I asked the front desk, they said they didn't have any. So frustrating. The twin room was so narrow you could barely walk through it. It's terrible and definitely not worth the 500+ price tag.

The environment here is great, and the hotel's front desk service was also good. It's very close to the Kamo River, perfect for a stroll, and transportation is super convenient. It's quite near Kyoto Station, just about a 15-minute walk. Overall, I had a good experience. If I had to pick a flaw, it would be that the room was a bit small, but that wasn't really an issue for me.

The room was very large and spacious, and the bathroom was clean with no unpleasant odors. There's a bus stop right outside, which makes getting around quite convenient. However, the bedding didn't seem very clean; I think there were bed bugs (´･_･`) My head felt itchy after sleeping.

The hotel's location is excellent, right by the Kamo River, with a subway station nearby. It's about a 15-minute walk to Takashimaya and also 15 minutes to Kyoto University. It's clean and hygienic.
