This hotel is conveniently located near Kyoto's Kamo River, about a 10-minute walk from Shichijo Station on the Keihan Line. You can step out and enjoy a riverside stroll, especially lovely during cherry blossom season – the surroundings are really nice. There are also plenty of convenience stores just a 4-minute walk away, which is super handy for grabbing anything you need. The room itself was clean enough. This hotel was a pleasant surprise, far exceeding my expectations, especially considering the great price and excellent value for money. When I booked, I was drawn in by the attractive price, but I didn't realize it was a smoking room. Upon check-in, I felt quite uncomfortable with it. Terrible. There were hairs on the bed, and I could clearly see black spots on the sheets. After lying down, my whole body felt itchy. It was advertised as a room with a window, but the window was covered with paper and couldn't be opened.
