The location is very convenient since it is located 5 minutes away from the Kyoto Train Station and close to the Kyoto tower. The beds and the overall facilities were very nice. My favorite part was the shower since it is very big and you can have a normal shower as well as relax in the bathtub, convenient time is to use it later on at night since it is a shared bathroom. The host was very friendly and helped us with our luggage (putting it in the room as well as storing it after check-out)

If you are a traveller like us who would like some more privacy, this place is not exactly for you. Don't get me wrong, the hotel staff are absolutely wonderful. Just that most things are communal and you have wait for your turn to shower and finish by 11.35. The walls are quite thin indeed, you can easily hear people walking on the hallway or simply chatting in their rooms.

The owner is a quite old couple, but the service is amazing. They can receive your belongings before check-in time. They also will help you prepare your bath and onsen(20 minutes/person)

It's very good. The room is very cozy and the service is Japanese-style. There are many convenience stores around and it's also very close to Kyoto Station. The store handles room card processing very quickly and also stores luggage.

Very nice ryokan! It's very close to Kyoto Station, perfect for catching a train. The room has tatami mats, a TV and a refrigerator. It is very clean, quiet, and very Japanese-style. The owner and his wife are also very nice and take good care of us. You can also take a hot bath underneath, which is very comfortable. Come and stay here next time!

In a Japanese-style family hotel, there is no bathroom in the room. There are shared toilets for men and women on the second floor, and shared bathrooms for men and women on the first floor. The sound insulation is poor. You have to leave the hotel at ten in the morning (I booked two nights and had to leave at ten the next day), and you can't come in or out at eleven in the evening. Ctrip should classify this hotel as a B&B youth hostel to prevent customers from mistaking it for a Japanese-style hotel. After all, at a price of more than 1,000 per night, there are many hotels to choose from around Kyoto Station. It was very inconvenient to stay in a hotel during a family trip, so I decided not to stay in the hotel on the second night.

The sound insulation is a little poor, but everything else is very good. The location is super convenient. Highly recommended as a stopover!
