I have booked this hotel for 3 nights.Except for its location which is secluded and the lack of the washing machine,it’s really a good choice to book such a big room for such a low price there.It is worth booking for those who wanna have a nice living experience at a low cost.

We booked a triple room, and with three beds, the room was quite compact, but we could still fit our luggage. The hotel is a bit of a distance from the station, but there are two buses an hour to Kyoto Station, which is very convenient, and the location is easy to find. For breakfast, there are two restaurants to choose from. The Japanese one offers a set meal, so we ate at the Western restaurant all three days, which basically met our needs.

Loved the hotel! The lobby area has water fountain and plants, which makes very enjoyable to look at. The room is spotless. Bus stops are nearby, and Shuttle buses from and to Kyoto station were super helpful! Can’t wait to come back again!

Hotel provides free shuttle service from Kyoto station to the hotel . Very convenient. Hotel is clean and cozy with wonderful staff. Rooms are comfy and clean and the toilets are great! Highly recommend this hotel and 8 would definitely come back again

Was in Kyoto early March, some days hot and somedays cold. I am a very hot sleeper. Couldnt even control my own room’s temperature because its centralised. The only option they had for me to make it colder was to open the windows. The staff groggily helped us with that because we couldnt hinge it open. I stayed on the second floor, wasn’t a very nice thought.
Bell boys of ALL the hotel staff were the nicest, at least they greeted you. The rest remained cold and unwelcoming, like they didnt want us there.
Should have honestly splurged more for accomodation

This is a venerable super five-star hotel with an excellent location, though it's a bit out of the city center, making it quite inconvenient for getting to sights, attractions, and dining. However, the hotel shuttle bus to Kyoto Station is a lifesaver. The hotel was renovated a few years ago, but it still retains its 40+ years of history and luxurious decor, now blended with modern, clean design elements. Charging facilities and hygiene are excellent. I would definitely stay here again!
