Excellent hotel, definitely my top choice for a trip to Kyoto. The location is superb, right out of Kyoto Station and a quick turn to the right. The rooms are spacious, and the breakfast is fantastic, with complimentary Japanese sake tasting and delicious ice cream.

Just a 2-3 minute walk from Kyoto Station, this hotel offers incredibly convenient access to the JR Nara Line (for Fushimi Inari), the bus terminal, and Kansai Airport. As an established hotel, the service is exceptionally thorough and thoughtful. The surrounding area is bustling with amenities, including Daikoku Drugstore, Isetan Department Store, and numerous restaurants. Despite the lively neighborhood, it's surprisingly quiet, making it a highly recommended stay.

The most satisfying hotel stay in Kyoto. It's an older hotel, but very well-maintained. The location is convenient, offering a quiet retreat while still being close to the action. The room is also quite spacious for Japan.

This is a very good hotel to choose to stay. Good location. 5 min to train station and close to shopping area and lot of restaurant to try.

The place I stayed in Kyoto was also amazing. It was right in front of the train station and located in the central area, which made everything so convenient. Honestly, the location couldn’t have been more perfect, and it made my whole Kyoto trip even more enjoyable 🤍

The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and they provided toiletries, including skincare and cleanser, which was a nice touch. The location was excellent, just next to Kyoto Station, making it very convenient to get around. Breakfast was good, with a slightly Western selection, though there were limited Japanese options. They don’t have a laundry room, but there is a self-service laundromat about 500 meters away.

This was the best hotel of the three we stayed in on our trip to Japan. The location was absolutely central to everything, and amenities were all close at hand. Close to Kyoto station meant that even when you were out all you had to do was finding a train or bus coming back to the station. From the first view of the hotel inside we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. The room blew us away when we opened the door, it was well laid out. The service and food were exceptional, absolutely loved the "Meat Theatre" this was an all you can eat and well worth the money. The staff were truly helpful at all times. Exceptionally good value loved it and would recommend it to everyone we know that are going to Kyoto.

This hotel was exceeding our expectations in many ways. The hotel staff was exceptional. The facility is clean. Breakfast was buffet style with so many choices. Will come back again.

The hotel is in a great location. Breakfast is buffet type and has a lot of variety; must try the ice cream.

Kyoto Century Hotel was one of our favorite hotels during our trip to Japan. We upgraded to one of the Kyoto-style rooms, and it was absolutely worth it. The room was incredibly spacious—especially by Japan standards—and beautifully designed with traditional touches. One of our favorite features was the enormous king-size bed. It felt exceptionally large and was incredibly comfortable. The room also featured a tatami living area, so we removed our shoes before entering, which made the space feel authentic, cozy, and relaxing. The bathroom was another highlight. It was much larger than we expected, with plenty of room to move around, making it feel more like a luxury hotel than a typical city hotel. The breakfast buffet was good, though not the highlight of our stay. There was a decent variety of options, the coffee was very good, and it was a nice way to start the day. The location is another major advantage, with Kyoto Station just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the city and travel to other destinations. Overall, I highly recommend Kyoto Century Hotel, especially if you're able to upgrade to one of the Kyoto-style rooms. The spacious accommodations, traditional design, comfortable bed, and convenient location made it a memorable stay.

The two nights stay was pleasant. The hotel had good amenities and the housekeeping service was efficient. The breakfast buffet had a good spread ranging from Japanese and Western. Overall the services from front office, restaurants and housekeeping was good

Facilities: The amenities are quite comprehensive. However, because it's very close to the train station, the soundproofing isn't great, and you can hear the train. This might be an issue for light sleepers. Cleanliness: Clean. Towels and bath towels were replaced daily. Environment: Very close to Kyoto Station. You just turn right after exiting the central gate, and it's less than 100 meters away. Very convenient for transportation. Service: The front desk service was excellent. The breakfast selection wasn't very wide.
